Looks like William took George and Charlotte to see Taylor Swift for his birthday. Looks like Taylor was just as happy to meet them as they were to meet her.

If I had a choice between TS or FF concert then my money is going on FF. I know what I am getting from the FF I don't mind TS but I wouldn't spend money on seeing her.

How many people got up to dance to the music you wrote and performed?

Teddybearpicniccelebration · 25/06/2024 21:02

You can't dance and sing at the same time and if she mixed it up with dancing, miming and singing that's believable.

PrincessMee · 25/06/2024 21:06

Can I ask as I don't have any Tweenies in the family? What is the appeal of TS ? Is it a girl power thing? Is it the nature of her songs? She slags a lot of her previous bfs off in the music doesn't she?

I mainly DJ at weddings we play their music and we play a mixture from the 80's to now from our list of songs. Last new years eve I played original nutter for a private work party and everyone was dancing from young to old.

A couple of the weddings I DJ for they gave a list of music and they wanted was that played. A man begged me to play Sean Paul so he could watch the women twerk and I did in the end when the bride gave her blessing. Another bride wanted me to play baby shark and she loved it.

Has anyone seen Kevin Bridges lately?

I'm surprised a DJ doesn't know that TS plays instruments. Even I know that 🤷‍♀️

Seeing as TS was only born in 1989, I don't know why you would be playing her songs in your 80s sets!!

80's to now

RocketsMagnificent7 · 25/06/2024 21:26

I mainly played at weddings and I was surprisingly popular with the venue. I didn't play any TS it was never asked for. I played music from the 80's to the present day. I waited for them to get drunk and that's when you give it to them.

So you didn't play TS but no one danced to TS and they all danced to the FF?

That's a shame because she speaks so highly of you!!!

She may not be your cup of tea but "mediocre" is not how I would describe such a highly successful performer!

'Dance Monkey' is vile.

I'm not sure I know @PrincessMee. I have two uber devoted Swifties who have been massively into her since the 2010s and in their 20s still are. I think it's a combination of the melodies and the lyrics - her lyrics can be very clever! I took them to see her in 2011. The tickets were £27.50!!

One bloke was so happy with us he took a picture and gave it to us. All sorts of dance songs or rock because when they're pissed that's when they let loose. Adele was a favourite and September by Earth, wind and fire all sorts it depends on the mood of the crowd. There is one song that they all loved Robbie Williams Angel.

Isn't there more than one Angel?

She is marketable for children not adults. I can't imagine relaxing and listening to TS. They wanted Dance Monkey I gave it to them I play for the crowd not for me. TS seems to have a lot to say about everybody in order to keep herself relevant.

Yes they did and I have a picture to prove it they danced to Foo Fighters.

Nonsense. My Swifties are mid/late 20s. As are their friends. They grew up listening to her music. Have you seen any coverage of her massively sold out worldwide tour?

You don't seem to know a lot about music but then again that doesn't surprise me.
