Will, George & Charlotte - Taylor Swift concert (photos)

Looks like William took George and Charlotte to see Taylor Swift for his birthday. Looks like Taylor was just as happy to meet them as they were to meet her.

Obviously three of them came from William and Kate, and two of THEM had a great time at the Taylor Swift concert. Lovely children.

Random thought - You never really know who is spongy. Some of the richest kids in my school when I was younger were really hard working and giving back. I always kind of felt something about them because they had the right clothes and nice houses and seemed confident but later I found out they had the same old problems we all have. One’s mom was a <insert mean word here> and told her she was fat but holy Jesus she was not fat even for back then. Bus he’s still had TWO parents in one house and all the right friends and was super cute.

I am just trying to say we all have our struggles and a Taylor Swift concert and nice clothes will not make up for that! Or even all the jewels in China! (I mean tea but I think you get it!)

I just read about the sovereign grant and none of it goes to cameras or concert tickets! Not even beach trips!
It’s to pay for the monarch’s official business and staff and other official things. How would a president eliminate staff and business stuff?
I don’t want a president in UK!! It would end up like an American President and I’m not impressed. Even JFK was sleeping with Marilyn Monroe and swimming naked in his pool and my papa’s friend worked in the White House and said even his wife was not nice to the staff. Actually two people told me that. We’d probably get Boris.

In fairness to Harry he wasn’t impressed with Williams dad dancing (even before he had kids), I did see post on Twitter that Meghan was the blueprint to openly dancing at concerts, erm no.

Also, the president doesn’t make very much money but so how do their wives dress like that? I do like the clothes!

I imagine there is a budget for the first lady and designers probably give her clothes .

It’s difficult to work out online. I do think they take gifts of clothing which seems off to me. I highly doubt it’s cheaper to run that way though.

Also, the American president doesn’t even know Taylor from Britney Spears. Is this better than King Charles? And he gets to make more decisions.

There isn’t a budget. Laura Bush said she was surprised to find out she was expected to fund all of her own outfits.

They do get gifted outfits for major events from designers and the custom is that gifted outfits are then donated to the national archives (as they tend to be for important events)

I also read that US presidents and their spouses have security for the remainder of their lives.

They do. It was changed when Bill Clinton was president to 10 years only (although he’d have kept his for life!), but it was changed back to lifetime under Obama.

Their children retain security until they are adults as well.

And a pension for their lifetime. They cost millions annually in US taxpayer dollars.

The current incumbent unfortunately doesn't know his arse from his elbow!

It's very interesting to see the anti Biden remarks. You do realise the alternative is Trump, right?

I worry a lot about that man, genuinely.

It's a statement of fact, and it's not anti-Biden. The man isn't well clearly. I can't stand Trump and I can't understand how a country so large can't produce an alternative to both of them. If it has to be one of them please god it's not Trump!

A huge country, with millions of bright, capable hardworking people and those are the two alternatives? If I was a US citizen I would despair.
