@Pushtart - how do you some of the Sussex Squad are decent, and some aren’t, unless you are very familiar with them? Why are you defending this group (you have done it here and on another thread) so determinedly?

Gosh I don’t follow this much but I would have thought she would be thoroughly ashamed of the last Texas visit, pictured checking the pap photos and using a terrible tragedy for exposure.

The reason she’s doing it because it’s as nebulous as criticising the Beyhive or Swifties or the Navy. There is no centralised group called the Sussex squad- there is no leader, no charter, nothing except for people who self identify as supporting the Sussexes. The was a group of people 3 or so years ago who trademarked Sussex Squad Community Events to fundraise for Sentebale - you will find it is this group that were acknowledged in the annual statement for Sentebale. They are not who people are referring to though when they talk about the squad but it appears that there is lots of conflation between the two entities. There are similar online coalitions for anti fans who tend to coalesce around hash tags as opposed to having a quick and easy identifier like Barbs or Monsters.

The important thing to many is that anti fans have successfully bullied John off social media for having the temerity to post positivity about Meghan and for thanking her fans when he was harassed the last time he posted positively. So excellent work all round.

Off topic: I can work out all the rest but who are "the Navy" people fans of? (Is it obvious I'm getting more and more oblivious to pop culture?)

Who decides to take the professional photos of these emotional get-togethers and who gets to make them public? I remember, years ago when they still lived in Hertfordshire, the Beckhams bought/donated a wheelchair for a local youngster and there were photos of the grinning couple with the young girl in the chair in all the local papers. It felt as though they were upping their public charitable brand and left a bit of a queasy aftertaste - couldn't they have done it privately? Don't get me wrong, I love that H&M care about these individuals but am getting that same queasy feeling.

Nice gesture there, as is keeping in regular touch with the family behind the scenes.

If there’s one thing M&H seem to be hugely appreciated for by most people they’re in contact with, it’s their warmth. Most accounts people voluntarily post in their SM accounts, from those at the non-profits they support to restaurant staff (most recently in Texas) to Invictus participants etc have nothing but praise for their warmth and kindness.

A good thing, in a world where platforms are so much more readily given to those exhibiting toxic behaviour and spewing hateful content…

If there’s one thing M&H seem to be hugely appreciated for by most people they’re in contact with, it’s their warmth.

Everyone who posts nice things about them is either questioned with regards to their sincerity or whether they’re part of a paid for push - see John here in Uvalde or James Dunlop at Invictus or Matt at the Beyonce concert or in fact any of the posters who post about them positively here in the RF forum; or attacked relentlessly- see every person mentioned on the positive threads - have a glance at their social media pages the moment they announce any positive association and they become over run by anti fans. People in the public eye pretty much are able to roll with it but you see many less famous people leaving social media for a bit, or putting their pages on private or limiting new commenters.

Anyway - let’s get back to the point of the thread. She really seems to like monochrome - I suppose it’s easier to wear. Still loving the term greige 🤣.

Given many of the regular posters on this thread have been busily stirring conspiracies about Kate elsewhere, expecting a nice friendly thread about Meghan seems a bit rich

So they also visited one of the Welcome Projects in San Antonio. I’m not sure if you can see when you zoom in when they’re baking but I love that lady’s multicoloured nails.

The Welcome Project is a cool Archewell-funded effort which supports women who have relocated from Afghanistan to help them find a community. Meghan and Harry actually had dinner with the group afterwards.

I've dis this kinda of stuff when we were ar school almost 20yrs ago. I used to do all sorts of poses. So have many othe people.

I don't think it's rude personally.

Even at my middle age now sometimes my.feoends and I do silly poses or photo bomb each orhers pics. It's just a laugh, nothing serious.

The childish silly pose thing was explained though and the subsequent photo of them was commented on as it portrayed them more favourably.
