Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, spotted out and about, part 4

Part 4 of a nice, unproblematic thread to discuss some of the fab outfits from the Duchess of Sussex, and some of the many great causes she (and Harry) and Archewell supports.

I suspected that this was going to be in the cards. She has visited the family she has consistently been in touch with in Uvalde - Irma Garcia’s nephew has been attacked for posting positively about Meghan in the past when she does anything with the family. there’s video out there of H&M singing Happy Birthday with cake to Irma’s sister.

She's so good as casual out and about outfits.

For more formal occasions she would benefit from a stylist though. She isn't great at dressing for her body in my opinion.

Her skin looks gorgeous and glowing in those pics.

I have always said she looks better in casual .
As an aside , I am surprised they didn’t crop out the child behind them ……………

I think that guy is a member of the Sussex Squad. I hope Meghan had a word in his ear about online abuse .

Btw I thought all the women looked dreadful in those big suits - Meghan looked much nicer in her ensemble.

I spotted your post late.

do you honestly think this is some kind of membership club that has anything to do with her? You can't expect her to be able to control that, any more than you can expect Kate to control her rabid fans that write crap online about Meghan! The hashtag is just something anyone uses and some of them are decent, some are not.

I just read about that, very sweet and it clearly means a lot to them.

I think that guy - whose aunt was a teacher who was murdered during an attack of gun violence at the school she worked at who posted online about the first time Meghan contacted his mother and was attacked by people who hate Meghan and then thanked the “sussex squad” for supporting and defending him against pretty relentless online abuse - is a member of the Sussex Squad.

Rude mostly in the commonwealth- not really a thing in the US (they use the middle finger more). However, you can tell that the girls are throwing cool poses and repping their house - as evident by how they’re standing - bodies facing inwards, the other teen going for the double hand/arm cross, and that teens hands directly in front of her face.

I love the Greige shirt and her latest black ensemble. These are good looks for Meghan.

I can’t tell anything - which is how I asked.

Sadly it doesn’t look cool to me - just rude.

Granted I’m cracking on a bit but the two youths in the family were of a similar opinion.

I completely agree that gestures differ in their interpretation depending on location.

But neither girl looks cool.

Are there any photos of Irma herself? Why is it the nephew?

Are you allowing, then, that there is such a thing as the Sussex Squad?

Of course there is a Sussex Squad just like there is a Beyhive, a Navy, Swifties, Barbs, Little Monsters and large groups of loosely associated people who coalesce around an interest. There are all kinds of people in all of these groups - who range from unremarkable to extreme. Him shouting out the Sussex squad is the same as him shouting out the Beyhive.

Each of these groups have had people who have claimed to be members who have behaved terribly.

Yep and John is now again being attacked by people who don’t like Meghan.

I do apologise. I meant the lady whose birthday it was. I guess the lack of her name and photo caused my confusion even more than early morning fever.

Why is this out in the news?

A much better picture of the girls.

To me, looking far cooler there than the ridiculous posing above.

It is reminiscent of some youths doing ‘gangster style’ poses.

It just makes them look like nyaffs.
