I don't think it will be a problem for them honestly. Much like the people who claimed to hate them, they still flocked to buy Spare, watched Harry & Meghan, and consume everything they put out.

At this rate, the people who claim to hate them are really the ones funding their lifestyle 😂

Do you know what? I looked closer - it looks like they gave Dr Buolawemi the grant after the SXSW panel last week because Meghan is wearing the exact same outfit (it was the earrings that put me on).

Really smart of the NAACP to give Dr Buolawemi her shine by making it distinct from SXSW because there was a real risk it would have been hidden by last week's chatter the digital advocacy space.

Right? It should be interesting and fun to see what they make of it.

I'm interested to see what Meghan does with this venture, but I agree re the saturated market. I wonder if trying a collab with something like Studio McGhee would have been a good way to test the waters and build a name, but I guess it depends on what products they're actually intending to sell.

Studio McGee's designs are amazing! - a great mix of modern and traditional... I wonder whether Meghan's Montecito mansion has a similar style... can't remember from the glimpses one caught from their Netflix series.

I doubt that ARO would want to start-off with a collab, though, they may be keen to first establish their own design identity?

That or Primark.

Totally agree! And she'd have some tips on how to run a successful Netflix show too! The California house they did for the billionaires on Dream Home Makeover (Hilltop Estate) was stunning...
