More like he didn't want to be photographed in the same place as Uncle Andy.

He pulled out less than an hour beforehand which strikes me as odd.
Also this was a service for one of Williams godfathers, he was due to do a reading.

It feels like more is going on than we know. Probably not, but it feels like it

J Lo's new doc is dropping on Amazon Prime today. Maybe he and Kate wanted a duvet day.

It is quite unusual, I saw an update that Kate is doing well but maybe that's not quite the case and she's having a difficult day

It does seem odd, also that pretty much concurrently there was a statement saying that Kate was doing well

Most likely one or more of the kids are sick at home and Kate isn't well enough yet to run after them.

It must be serious. If it’s a case of Kate not feeling great or the kids being ill they have staff who could help for a few hours, surely?

I genuinely think W&K take the "living normally" very seriously. There was one time about 3-4 years ago where both pulled out of a last minute event due to illness of one of the kids. It had very similar headlines and people were baffled why they just didn't leave it to a nanny. It could easily be the kids requesting a parent to stay or the nanny being sick too or something similar.

I thought this was odd too. Perhaps he is unwell & they didn’t want to say as people will start speculating about it. Or maybe there is more stuff going on with Kate. It definitely feels as though there is more going on behind the scenes.

I'm sad to say that I've been pretty disappointed in William not stepping up.
Sure, his wife is in recovery from a serious procedure.
His dad is newly diagnosed with cancer.
Both overwhelming in any family.
But this is not an 'ordinary' family.
Their overriding reason for being is to provide stability amongst the chaos.
I'm a royalist but they are failing badly.
I cannot imagine a scenario under our last monarch where she ever encouraged so much rumour and gossip.
It's not good optics for the future.
There's lots to be said of 'say nothing' but in todays world that vacuum will undoubtedly be filled.
Usually with lies and half truths.
I hope it's something innocuous.

I thought it was odd Kate was mentioned. It's a Tues, an hour before the event approx 9.30 when he cancelled.. Any number of things could have happened that didn't need Kate being dragged into it..
Eg one of the kids could have had an accident in school & he had to rush,
He could have a bad dose of the shits etc
