Wales family Christmas card

cant work out what I think about this. They all look lovely, match, but it’s not very festive. Bit drab- colour would have been better.

Nothing wrong in the picture but it does look dated. For me it's KM's hair, it reminds me of Farrah Fawcett! And yes I thought the height gap between KM and PW was much smaller, even accounting for heels.

looks awful the colour is so drab surely a bit of xmas cheer could have been incorporated. still it was probably taken in june

Charlotte is so photogenic and does radiate energy. She and William look like themselves, the other three somehow don’t.

I wonder if they were aiming for something really pared back, in light of the COL crisis. Maybe they were trying to eliminate anything that might suggest wealth or privilege.

It’s a nice photo, I’d be happy to get one (I won’t).

The 70s and 80s are back! I love it.

But I find the picture odd. All I can think is that they made an effort for years to dress as HMQE wished and now they can do whatever.

It looks like a yearbook photo. "family most likely to..." Insert sentence here. All the grey gloom in the background does nothing. It's very unimaginative.

I’ve figured out what’s going on. They realised when the photographer was due to arrive that Kate was away on a hen weekend with her pals. So they sent this in a taxi from Madame Tussaud’s and hoped we wouldn’t notice. But I’m onto them!

You’d expect someone to notice these things before it’s released.

Something weird with Williams's hip behind Louis too. The photoshopping is pretty bad given their access to the best people for the job.
Amazing to see them all together under the circumstances (if rumours are to be believed)
It's all just so drab though, perhaps because of the world right now, they thought it in bad taste to look more jovial? Charlotte looks so relaxed and natural infront of the camera, Granny's genes maybe?

Is that why she wore £5k earrings to her Carol concert ?
Did she buy them specifically for the concert? She probably had them for a while. No point not wearing something once you've got it.
I can't afford to buy another Channel handbag at the moment but I'm not going to stop using the one I have.

Kate has worn the earrings before, so no, they were not bought for this event. And the design is one that Camilla clearly loves - she has many pieces from the same Van Cleef & Arpels range. So it’s possible that Kate’s earrings were a gift from Camilla.

The confusion on legs is that people are mistaking William's right leg and foot for Louis'.
Louis is in shorts so the " extra" bare legs and trainers are his.
