Looking a little uptight and exasperated when the collar is put on Charles and then the cloak? I didn't notice at the time but on sky re run I can see William looking uncomfortable and even impatient??

They did appear to be late and KC arrived early, I think he was meant to get there for 11 but was there at 10 to. William and Kate’s car then arrived after him and they all walked in together but I thought they would have been in and KC would arrive last 🤷🏼‍♀️ I had lost interest in the middle of the ceremony so missed the bit where William was involved, I just watched again after it was over

I downloaded the order of service. William and family were not late. There were in their correct position in the procession.

Kate wasn't smirking at the gospel singers, she enjoyed their joyful performance. As did I, it gave me goosebumps. It was one of the highlights for me.

I think PW and family were late, maybe because of the kids (who knows), this made KC angry/flustered, and put the ceremony out of sorts. No one seemed very sure of what to be doing in the first 20 minutes. I will extend my psychic powers by thinking that they made up when William kissed him on the cheek. Massively stressful day, I know my family wod have had several rows by the time we reached the church.

I imagine it's the type of day where you are constantly experiencing high stress levels, just wanting it to be over so you can relax again but when you look back on it a few weeks later you think "Ah, that was a great day,"

It's also worth noting that the coronation of a monarch is a solemn ritual. You'd hardly expect them to be dancing down the aisles!

William was taking his duties seriously. Louis was fabulous as were all the other children.

It's weird, isn't it, how many people seem to have sat through the whole thing with the sole purpose of finding faults (and inventing them where they didn't actually exist) and then being so preoccupied with this activity that they feel the need to post about it. Still, takes all sorts I suppose. Some folks just live very shallow lives... 🤷‍♀️

Oooh the gospel choir was brilliant. My favourite part. I didn’t see any giggles from Kate. Honestly, I think I watched a different version from the supposedly factual versions I’m reading on mn.

Agree with @AppleDumplingWithCustard because I’m not seeing any of these negative things. Catherine was clearly smiling because the gospel music was uplifting and joyful. It was a fabulous moment in the ceremony.
Very clearly PW was looking at his father, back to the words on the card and then back to his father. It was a touching moment and I’m actually not much of a royalist, just here to observe the history.
People will see what they want to see. I can’t even imagine how I would feel in their (albeit expensive) shoes - targets for all sorts of nutters, death threat etc….and having to parade themselves publicly. They were nervous, self conscious and at times, emotional.

Yep same here, I saw William looking serious but then he's meant to be serious, it's a solemn state occasion that goes back 900 years, it's not a jolly down the pub....talking of which William looked very happy about things the day before, very animated when talking to people on walkabout about the coronation

They're all a bunch of grumpy fuckers. William had a face on. Kate was constantly pecking at Louis. Charles looked annoyed when the crown was being jammed on his noggin. Camila looked like she was away with the fairies for most of it. I was just watching for Major Johnny tbh.
