Thought she’d shot daggers at Meghan when she got out of the car!

Wonder why that was?

That was before the Netflix doc and Spare release as well.

Coincidence this is being published now before H&M confirm if they’re going to accept the invite to the coronation?

Kate: Walkabout with Harry and Meghan 'one of hardest things ever'

Kate and William's appearance with Harry and Meghan to greet well-wishers and view the flowers outside the gates of Windsor Castle came two days after the Queen's death at the age of 96

Blimey the hardest thing she's done - yes figures, which if true is admitting she has never done anything hard. I'm all out of small violins.

PacificallyRequested · 07/04/2023 22:30

LOL. She's had a charmed life if that's the hardest thing she's done!

onedaywhenifallinlove · 07/04/2023 22:31

I thought Meghan looked terrified during this and I really can't imagine that it was harder for Kate than it was for Meghan.

VisitationRights · 07/04/2023 22:33

What a sheltered, pampered fucking existence she’s had if that’s the hardest thing. I would have thought some of her and Will’s “friendships” closer to home might have been more difficult.

BuckinghamPalaceFountain · 07/04/2023 22:36

So not working part time in a job as a buyer gained through family connections not skills , knowledge or ability?

live sucks doesnt it?
so full of trauma

SD1978 · 07/04/2023 22:37

When your source is someone said something to the daily mail.......I wouldn't get excited about the accuracy of the 'quote'

StormzyinaTCup · 07/04/2023 22:37

To be fair, I would think it was likely pretty awful for both women.

RealHousewifeofExhaustion · 07/04/2023 22:41

I am sure the expression is the same as when people say "there's nothing worse than cold coffee/ being woken up at 5am/ Tesco running out of your favourite coffee" or whatever.

It doesnt mean she has never had anything truly awful happen to her apart from this one thing ffs!

Just means this was an awful experience, which I can well imagine it was! Being stuck in a car with multi-millionaire professional victims - not my idea of a fun time

Cokefans · 07/04/2023 23:03

It’s a turn of phrase and if people are going to take the author’s word as gospel then they should also accept that the queen said h and m are ‘quite mad’
I do think Kate was fuming at the walkabout - because she’s not a fake. We’ve all had dodgy relatives turn up to funerals like hyenas round a corpse. Kate didn’t want to be there - she’s not a good actress and yes Meghan looked scared to death

Cokefans · 07/04/2023 23:04

Kate gave her the death stare like Sophie did and both times she backed off like a scared rabbit - not so bold when she’s face to face with the people she’s hurt is she?

Cozzadelsol · 07/04/2023 23:38

It's so funny that people are saying 'oh it's a turn of phrase' 'oh she probably didn't mean it like that' but any shit reported that M&H have supposedly said is taken as gospel. I really don't like any of them. They are all a bunch of spoilt, pampered grifters the whole family.

Catherine and Meghan are very, very different women. They were never going to be besties, but the way they were pitted against each other almost from the beginning is disgusting.

The fact that some women on this forum have fallen for this shit is quite disturbing. The number of posts revelling in dragging each of them down, depending on which camp you're in, is pathetic. You all need to grow the fuck up!

mumyes · 07/04/2023 23:39

I must admit I find Kate rather pathetic.

She's like a 1950s housewife.

Grow some bloody balls, speak up for what's right.

Same for camilla and several other female members of the royals.

michaelmacrae · 08/04/2023 01:14

I'm sure it was far harder for Meghan than it was for bloody kate. We can all see how she stared her down hard before she smiled and waved, yet we're supposed to feel sorry for poor, waity katie, who doesn't know what a hard life is. Don't think so.

Scoobydoobywho · 08/04/2023 07:08

Why is everyone jumping on Catherine as if this is actually true, just because an author says it's true doesn't mean it is. Same as if a source said.......
I don't like Harry and Meghan but unless I see or hear it from the people involved, I take most things reported with a pinch of salt.

ReneBumsWombats · 08/04/2023 08:16

I don't know, I think it sounds pretty shit. I've had to do objectively worse things but this still doesn't sound like fun.

And I think she's allowed to say stuff like that in a private conversation. She's not lamenting to people at a soup kitchen or children's hospital.

good post

pilates · 08/04/2023 08:49

I take what I read with a pinch of salt and to the poster who said Waity Katie - grow up!

Inkanta · 08/04/2023 08:51

It's very cringy the author saying this - with or without Kate's consent. But I must admit I feel a bit judgy of Kate - she did have a poker face during those moments.

purpledalmation · 08/04/2023 08:56

Well we've all been there. Having to smile sweetly despite loathing the sight of someone who lied about you, insulted you and you saw through, from the get go.

She pulled it off pretty well, but I'm so pleased she was human enough to show the hurt she and he DH had suffered.

MarquessofPembroke · 08/04/2023 08:59

Why would Kate need balls. She's a woman. You do know what a woman is, don't you?

Yes. I doubt it was terrifying, they probably both felt a bit awkward but after a while they seemed OK.

Typical Mail, making an issue out of virtually nothing.

DewinDwl · 08/04/2023 09:06

So, a book written by one of those Palace leeches? Serialised by daily mail. Less than a month before the coronation. UK tabloids are revolting scum.

Yesthatismychildsigh · 08/04/2023 09:16

Hardest thing she’s ever done? She’s never actually ‘done’ anything much.

ImSweetEnoughDarlin · 08/04/2023 09:19

Are there pics/video of this stare Kate is supposed to have given?
