Thought she’d shot daggers at Meghan when she got out of the car!

Wonder why that was?

That was before the Netflix doc and Spare release as well.

Coincidence this is being published now before H&M confirm if they’re going to accept the invite to the coronation?

Kate: Walkabout with Harry and Meghan 'one of hardest things ever'

Kate and William's appearance with Harry and Meghan to greet well-wishers and view the flowers outside the gates of Windsor Castle came two days after the Queen's death at the age of 96

@Novella4

Haha I saw that! Every single post I saw was along those lines.
Our road is neighbourly, we always had a BBQ in the road for the royal weddings and jubilees just to connect with each other really.

no one has mentioned a word about the coronation, absolutely nothing

KrasiTime · 16/04/2023 11:53

Blimey just been on that Saint Reddit thread. People are really batshit.

That is no surprise, because even the 'popular' HMQE jubilee weekend, had long planned pub and beer festivals etc. rebranded as 'jubilee parties'.

Mumsnet royalists are the best and a lot more centred and reasonable than many of their fellow travellers elsewhere. 👏

You can check out events near you with this map. If you put in Caernarfon where Prince Charles had his investure in 1969 as the Prince of Wales there is basically nothing. Which is probably for the good as Prince William forwent that particular jamboree.

Jealous that Meghan got the one more fanciable, most likely.

I saw a tv company asking for coronation questions on Twitter

They keep reposting because all the questions are along the lines of :
Can't Charles pay for it
Can we cancel it
Etc

The media is not reflecting the true feeling of the population re the royals

Look at the tiny number of ( cringe) street parties - that's some indication

Hold on. Was this picture something that actually happened ?

I remember 'not my king' posters.

Novella4 · 16/04/2023 12:39

I think that's photoshopped

Mumsnut · 16/04/2023 13:28

Vera’s website shows public events only. I know of many private or ‘informal’ events near me (‘We’re all bringing g a picnic to the green’ type things, but nothing that involves risk assessments, applications for street closures, etc, because no-one wants to take the risk /responsibility - that landscape has changed hugely over the last 20 years. Similarly, the number of public fireworks events has plummeted.

But pretty much everyone I know is planning or attending a bbq or picnic or some such with the telly on. It doesn’t help that the actual timings haven’t been announced yet I don’t think.

Fansandblankets · 16/04/2023 17:49

When was she supposed to have said that?

I imagine it was hard, having to walk along with that back stabbing pair.

Who?

That could apply to either of them

Well the original post is about Catherine, so clearly that is who I am referring to.

The backstabbers are obviously Meghan and Harry.

Not so obvious
