Daily Mail is reporting this, I heard it on Sky News press preview. He is going to try to get her to retract her statement, apologise and pay back the money. It's hard to know what to think. But apparently, she dropped the case against another man after saying it was a case of mistaken identity. Prince Andrew said he can't recall meeting her. Very stramge.

He is a pompous oaf of the highest order. This is all about using his HRH title and status. His interviewed showed he lacked any self awareness at all.
Andrew has lived a life of wanting for nothing and of being spoilt.
I believe her.

Maybe he will do a second TV interview.

There’s clearly photographic evidence of them together with Maxwell in the background. Unless he’s contesting the integrity of the photograph? 🤔

I am assuming that he has some sort of evidence to prove that he wasn’t in America or wherever the crimes were said to have taken place. I don’t think a children’s party at Pizza Express is a suitable alibi. Unless others remember seeing him there and these people at said children’s party or his daughters are willing to testify under oath? I am also assuming that he must be aware there is a chance that he won’t be exonerated and things won’t be going his way? Presumably he has his legal counsel who would be advising him.

Unless he’s displaying narcissistic tendencies so he’s convinced that he’s right, not caring about the repercussions and as long as he believes that he’s right, then that’s all that matters.

Even though I like him to live in a hut as a hermit I do sort of understand, this was civil case and the paying to make it go away hasn’t really worked. He might as well of tried his day in court.

He would lose in court. The court gave permission for his TV interview to be shown in court. He had been asked to submit medical evidence he could not sweat at the time and had to admit there was no evidence.

Oh dear he is more stupid than I thought - nice of him to pursue this in Coronation year. That said his gagging order expires in February but if he really wants his day in court he's going to have to swear an oath and face cross questioning if VG doesn't back down before that.

His best defence is to say as a divorced man I had a full and consensual sex life with a number of willing partners over the years. In each of these laisons I had no reason to suspect that any of these women were anything other than equal un-coerced participants.

I now know from evidence that my friendship with Jefferey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell was wrong, misguided and a matter which I now deeply regret. It is a matter of deep personal shame that I allowed my sexual appetites to overcome what should have been a more responsible and holistic approach to relationships with these women. I am undergoing counseling for sexual addiction and I hope the British people have it in their hearts to forgive me and in due course I can come to serve my country and monarch as they feel fit.

If he could clear his name, why didn't he do that when all this first happened? He could have saved his mother and family a lot of grief

Perhaps he’s preempting the inevitable- her gag clause runs out too and she may have a few words to say?
He has two choices - allow her to frame the narrative or come out with his guns blazing in the hope of retaining some dignity

It's a high risk strategy particularly with that photo and his interview and whatever happens his reputation is effectively trashed anyhow. I don't think that his reputation for being a rude, entitled sleazebag will be altered nor will anyone want to be associated with him.

The Epstein saga is one of the rare occasions when there may be an actual conspiracy amongst 'the elites' to prevent the truth coming out and like Ghislaine's dad Bob Maxwell before him I suspect he was working for Mossad to have kompromat on powerful global figures as a measure of control as well as to satisfy his own sexual perversions. Whether that was by design or opportunity of a mixture of both we will probably never know.

Well he wanted to didn't he but was pressured not to drag it through the courts and demystify the RF?The queen was so committed to duty and upholding the monarchy she sometimes had to sacrifice her family's interests on this altar.she is dead and gone now.

It's all a bit weird that Maxwell gets to do a TV interview from jail where she is serving 20 years for sex trafficking and then during that interview says the photo is fake and Andrew is innocent a month before the gagging order expires and then PA announces he's maybe going to fight to clear his name.

The problem with that is Maxwell is saying he is innocent and the photo is fake so if he was to take that at face value he has to double down on not knowing her.

I don't think a photograph is evidence of anything especially since the original has 'disappeared '
I am not sure why he has to prove his innocence, surely it's for her to prove his guilt?

Bit risky of him to drag it all up again seeing as dear old mummy isn't around to bail him out and protect him this time.
