Daily Mail is reporting this, I heard it on Sky News press preview. He is going to try to get her to retract her statement, apologise and pay back the money. It's hard to know what to think. But apparently, she dropped the case against another man after saying it was a case of mistaken identity. Prince Andrew said he can't recall meeting her. Very stramge.

I have never understood why all the focus on the photo - it doesn't prove anything either way. If it's a fake, if doesn't mean VG is lying, if it's not a fake, if doesn't prove they had sex, it certainly doesn't show he knew that she was trafficked.

I feel the same way about the pizza express in Woking - if it's true, it doesn't mean he didn't go to the club afterwards.

I wish VG hadn't taken the settlement, then we might actually have heard the real points discussed in court

That's my take too. The photo does look a bit off but then photos can. But the bottom line is photo not, I believe the broad truth of what VG has alleged. Andrew is up to his royal eyeballs in this. There is no defence that is OK.

He can’t afford Andrew to write his own ‘Spare’ as he could tell some very juicy stories.

He could but he won't, at least not immediately.

Harold's revelations are already subject to the law of diminishing returns.

Andrew's aching for rehab but even he isn't dim enough to sell out his current opulent lifestyle the same way.

Gloves might be off if Willy continues the reported eyeing up of Royal Lodge though...

Oh yes the older 'spare' getting kicked out by the entitled cousin. The dysfuction is baked in, it's a "feature" not a bug as they say in software circles.

My take is that PA couldn’t remember VG as she was one of many, many girls served up to him and other men in influential positions. I might even go so far as to posit that PA thought they were pleased to be with such a dashing royal… He was entertaining Epstein et al at Sandringham etc and my belief is that he’s such a half-witted oaf that he believed he was a business mover and shaker.

I think Charles will manage him out now that The Queen has gone. Many warring siblings have to keep the peace for the sake of their parents, but once the parent has died they feel free never to see them again. It’s different of course in a family business, let alone the rf, but public sentiment will dictate that PA will never get back his previous gigs.

That sounds about right. He was notorious when he visited Thailand. For the 60th Jubilee of the then Thai king he stayed in a suite at the Hyatt Grand Erewan and there are tales that he had 10 women in one day and swapped woman and stories with a Gulf prince who was staying at the same hotel much to the disgust of the hotel staff.
