If anything, Meghan married down.

She was just a pretty average bit-part actress. Lots of "one offs". Her only real "success" was Suits and even in that, she didn't really have a challenging part - just a subsidiary regular character who had to smile a lot really! I don't recall her winning any Oscars or other major awards. She certainly isn't/wasn't a mega rich, mega successful Hollywood actress. Basically just struck lucky to get a regular part on Suits.
