These people are apparently worried about what Harry will write in his memoir but we've somehow managed to get a play by play of what has gone on this week.

From blocking Meghan's visit to Balmoral to how the joint greeting of well wishers came about.

Please note that these writers are making it clear they are speaking to Palace sources.

Now when H&M start speaking (in defense of themselves), people will complain.

You can't believe what you read in the papers. Even the 'palace source' won't know everything , if they even exist.
The only people who truly know what's going on are the RF and they won't speak to the media.

Indeed the press are making stuff up as usual.
I expect the true story is that Harry was informed he needed to get to Balmoral asap, he assumed Meghan would go with him, but when informed Katherine was not going, he and Meghan decided Meghan would not go up. Just like any other family making arrangements in a rush when they know someone is dying.
I do not think for a moment that Charles had anything to do with it, at the time he was sat with his dying mother.

Seriously were you expecting Meghan to be allowed to go to Balmoral 😅 - only to allow her to add a new chapter in the upcoming book(s). She is really one of a kind.

It's probably just them chucking M&H to the wolves as per usual to distract from Andrew or whatever scandal they're worried about. The money in a suitcase thing fizzled out quickly didn't it?

I think a lot of the stories are fishing for details and forcing people who do what's going on to issue rebuttals. I've seen the DM print several stories this week that have later been corrected, mainly relating to H&M going to Balmoral and how they got invited to go walkabout at Windsor. The initial stories on both were wrong.

I don't think the Palace are leaking anything. Usual made up stuff from people who " think" they know.
It is entirely possible that H and W though won't reconcile and it's as a show of unity during this time, but possibly temporary.
Am only surmising though, exactly same as tabloids are.

I would imagine “ The Palace” is rather busy at the moment.

Mostly these are quotes from ‘royal experts’ who don’t have any insider info, they’ve just made educated guesses.

Who knows why Megan didn’t go to Scotland, but it will be some basic reason like they realised Kate wasn’t going and it would be weird.

Yes William will have invited them to join the walkabout because who else would. Maybe he texted Harry, maybe he rang him, but one or the other, obvs.

It's all really interesting actually. I can't really articulate it very well but it's almost like something has blown wide open and the tone is very strange. I expected massive adultation about Kate being the princess of Wales and a load of puff-pieces, which basically haven't materialised from her camp. The arguments around free speech and the media have already started in earnest (has anyone seen the play King Charles III by Mike Bartlett...?) Vanessa Feltz openly pushed back against Angela Levin re; Meghan at the walkabout. It seems like something's shifted. There's some utter shit about Meghan wearing a wire now that's on twitter (clearly nonsense), and the wider public seem to be coming down more on H&M's side now that stuff like Rebecca English lying about H&M not staying to greet the public have been thoroughly refuted.

I never believe what the press write, after enduring an interview and the article being published with me noted as South American born (never been further than Spain from home), wrong name (spelling error on surname), wrong age, completely omitted the main point of why I was being interviewed etc.

I was thinking the same thing about Kate actually. Kates side is keeping a strangely low profile.

A lot of the trouble and unpleasantness has been caused, in my view, by so called sources on both sides of the divide. If they are authorised then this is plain wrong. Either make a clear statement or don't. On the other hand I get the impression that there are a number of so called sources, again on both sides, that are building themselves some kind of 'career' on the basis of implying that they are in the know.

That is because Kate is behaving like a princess and keeping a low profile as she should. M wants everything to be about her. She says the left the UK because everyone deserves privacy and then she sells her soul to the press.

Oh give it a rest @RaRaRaspoutine. Your pro-Meghan and anti-RF outpourings on every royal thread are so tedious. I've noticed nothing at all that is anti-Kate. She is keeping a dignified silence, as usual, and there are no leaks from her side, as usual. She and William are behaving like a future King and Queen should - with silence and with the dignity required of such a solemn occasion as the death of the Queen.

But the apparent leaks in your first link contradict the supposed leaks in the screenshots you've attached. It says "Doubts have been cast on reports that King Charles intervened to stop Meghan boarding the Cessna Harry chartered from Luton Airport to fly him to Aberdeen on Thursday." And then goes on to say what the truth is, "according to one palace source" (the truth apparently being that Meghan stayed behind once it emerged that Kate wasn't going).

How can we possibly know which fictional sources (from the palace or from H&M) are correct?? Probably best to ignore it all.

I don’t get why anyone hasn’t just thought about the quite real possibility that the royals knew the Queen died way before anyone else obviously. They said Kate wasn’t going because it was the kids first day at school BEFORE they released the news. It’s much more likely she knew the Queen had died and decided to pick her kids up to let them know their great grandmother had died. As you’d want to do as a mother. Once she’s made that decision seems equally plausible Harry & Meghan realised people would criticise if she went when Kate wasn’t so Meghan stayed.

If she’d gone when Kate didn’t the papers would have said shit like she intruded and insisted on being there ffs.

odd imo both K & M have been supporting their husbands. can't see that either of them have done anything wrong.
