What on earth is going on with Princess Charlene of Monaco?

The latest update doesn't seem to make a huge amount of sense - a sinus infection has kept her away from Monaco since January? I understand that would mean you couldn't fly, but surely someone with her status would be offered another mode of transport to return to her children?
She doesn't look well in the video, I hope it's just poorly shot and that she's not seriously poorly.

According to the news she's resting due to deep fatigue.

It’s just so strange , if she was miserable and wants to leave she can, I think she will get visitation rights to spend time with her children while she works on herself .
But all of this months of being vague and only to arrive back to Monaco and get an intervention treatment is strange.

I feel so sad for her. She’s obviously very unhappy and being married to a serial shaer doesn’t help. He’s got kids coming out of the woodwork every year .

The amount of speculation on this thread about people we don't know is shocking. There are small children involved, have some respect and restraint.

We are only discussing information that has willingly been put into the public domain - pictures posted by Charlene herself etc.

The pictures being held up by the children are very odd, that's so private yet it's been made so public.

The wording of staging an intervention and having her confirm that she knew she needed to go to a facility in front of her brothers is also weird.

The pictures being held up publicly are definitely weird. But the talk of intervention and all family being aware sounds like someone who is desperately unwell but needs to admit it before treatment can be effective. Let's hope it works.

It's not that it happened that it's odd. Its the level of detail that's odd.

The same information could have been given in the sentence "My wife decided she needed further rest/treatment and her family and I have supported that decision" as opposed to that level of detail about them needed her to admit it to them.

Can you imagine the British or Danish royal families giving that level of detail about a family member? It's just odd.
