What on earth is going on with Princess Charlene of Monaco?

The latest update doesn't seem to make a huge amount of sense - a sinus infection has kept her away from Monaco since January? I understand that would mean you couldn't fly, but surely someone with her status would be offered another mode of transport to return to her children?
She doesn't look well in the video, I hope it's just poorly shot and that she's not seriously poorly.

She's been in South Africa for months.

Her face does seem to have changed quite a bit over the years, TatianaBis - she’s definitely had a nose job and quite a bit of work to her teeth and upper jaw. Plus fillers and Botox as well.

Seriously, though, I do think that if a head of state (even a nominal one) is behaving as some here believe, that's deserving of public discussion even if those involved would prefer it remain private. And I don't mean the adultery - IMHO, one spouse's willingness to tolerate another's adultery is a private matter and not reflective of either's fitness for leadership. But it really sounds like there may be more troubling issues here.

The thing is that the Grimaldi family are very close. Albert takes care of all of them, including his sisters and their children. His nieces and nephews are all involved in the public events of Monaco. I think he’s been unfairly painted because of his illegitimate children.

Horrible men are often outwardly big family men.

Given that all the Grimaldi siblings have had their scandals with assorted downplaying and cover ups it’s not really surprising they’re outwardly close.

Plus his sister’s children were also included in a lot as while he didn’t have legitimate children they were in line after their mother.

Why do you think he’s a horrible man? His only “crime” has been having children “out of wedlock “ and please, half the women on MN aren’t married to their children’s fathers, so…..

Interesting choice of publication given Albert sued them years ago for revealing the boy’s existence when he was still not acknowledging his son as his.

Personally, I don't necessarily think he's horrible. Adultery isn't great, but if his wife doesn't care, then whatever. Refusing to publicly acknowledge his illegitimate children isn't great, but probably indicates nothing either way about how a man treats his wife. But something is clearly off about this situation, and when you take the known facts and throw in the rumours about her trying to escape but still marrying him while looking like she was attending a funeral rather than her own wedding, them living separately, etc., I don't think Albert being a wonderful husband and the extended separation being 100% due to a bizarre series of medical issues is really the most likely explanation.

Whatever is going on back in Monaco, the latest picture of her on her instagram definitely supports the idea that she’s been staying in South Africa due to serious health issues. She looks very thin and drawn. I hope she is okay.

She doesn't look well at all in that photo.

She looks absolutely dreadfully ill, poor woman.

She is wearing a rosary bead around her neck and a bible on the desk, she didn't ever strike me as someone very religious.

She may have converted to Catholicism when she married Albert.

She looks incredibly ill in these pictures. If i had to guess id say cancer.
