Dandy yes, it shows a lack of care for the staff, I’ve just never seen any employer refer to a redundancy and tell everyone how hard it was for them as the employer and neglect totally to mention the actual staff.

Quite. The apposite word is “antics”. It’s a word that connotes childishness and that is something the prince and his wife have in spade loads.

I've mentioned this before, but it's widely said that Diana (perhaps unwisely) used William as a confidante and their past closeness may well have involved him sharing private family matters with his younger brother. If Harry's gone on to share unpalatable details with his wife, it might even be that Charles regards that £2 million a year in the light of hush money

This is hundreds of thousands of people all saying the same thing. Their names are mud now. I think a lot of people had sympathy with their desire to do their own thing but with their statement, they have pitted themselves against the Queen. She is one of the most respected woman in the world. I don't think that was a very smart move.

But are their names mud with likes of Oprah, Ellen (is the interview happening) the Clooneys?

I think Meghan will hang to Harry for now as he is her entry. Her meal ticket is Archie.

Oprah and Ellen were only interested in them because of their status. Are they likely to see value in them now? The clooneys, who knows... were they actually friends? Or also slightly bedazzled by the Royal thing?

I worry about H's mental health also. He is fragile by hos own admission and now his life and support network has been annihilated.

I don't disagree, Bluntness, but I'm not sure how they could shut all their media down when their entire brand seems to depend on it? Granted they could set up new sites, but what's to stop their countless critics just transferring?

And given their utter lack of self-knowledge I'm not sure what they can possibly put in a statement that's going to help now. It seems to me they're stuck in a downward spiral of monetising whatever they can until the inevitable crash and burn, where Harry returns alone and Meghan hawks her cute toddler around tearstained interviews, posing as the eternal victim

I typed 'Meghan Markle' into Google. 110,000,00 entries. She must be loving it. I fear for Harry's mental health but perhaps he is just fine. Who knows. Why can't they just live a quiet and happy life.

In the couple of photos we have seen recently, harry looks really happy. I wonder if he's decided to stop reading the press or the comments on Instagram and have fun? i suspect she is the one slogging away, desperately trying to market them and getting increasingly angry. I also think they are feeding each other's sense of outrage.Harry probably thinks he's been rescued and everything is going to be just dandy from now on.

I suspect people are also upset by the unedifying spectacle of Harry treating his very elderly grandparents like this in public. They deserve better than this.

Frail or not, I can just imagine what Prince Philip might be saying......

I hope that there is a trusted link between the Royals and Harry - as in trusted by both sides, who will just keep in touch and make sure that Harry is OK. Genuinely mean that.

Golly just had a look on IG and the comments are overwhelmingly negative.

They need to start on some serious damage limitation and start demonstrating some self awareness that this petulant whinging has to stop.

Problem is if there aren't any independent positive comments that can be kept. A lot of the positive comments are in response to negative ones so if you get rid of the negative ones you'd have to get rid of these two as they wouldn't be in context.

Surely better they disable comments.

by trading on precisely the royal name, status and connections that they claim to find so objectionable. no where have I seen anything to support the idea that H&M find the RF objectionable .The press attention that goes with it ,yes .
