Heartbroken to say that Penelope had another funny turn/ seizure this morning. I thought the last one was a one off as she had made a full recovery very quickly. And I’d not seen any others. I took her to
the emergency vet after and She didn’t respond to midazolam. The vet thought it was likely to be a brain tumour. So did the only thing that could be done. She went very quickly and peacefully on my knee.

For such a tiny cat, with a daft long name, she was so sassy and sweet and affectionate. Just a lovely, lovely cat. Will miss your Pen.

Very sorry to hear that @InQuiresandplaceswheretheysing. I've followed her story and she clearly lived her best with you. My sympathy 💐

My parents are not keen for me to have any more Persians. I know we’ve had issues. But I absolutely love the breed. And they fit in well with my lifestyle.

She’s only just died this morning. Tell them you’re not even thinking of another. What a thing for them to say at this time.

I’m really sorry to hear this. Please comfort yourself with the thought that you really did give her some wonderful years and excellent care following a pretty shitty start in life with a breeder.

Cheddar was the only cat she got on really well with. She learned how to cat from her.

So sorry to hear this, I followed her saga on here, her life with your gorgeous Cheddar, then not getting on the very handsome boy whose name escapes me right now, to settling down with just the two of you. You put so much energy and love into your cats and they plainly have a lovely life with you. Sending hugs 🫂

@Ihatemondays1962can I see a picture? The house is so quiet. She usually used to come and sit next to me if I was watching TV. But only if the cushion was only left hand side!
