Storm has notions of being a car engineer - he wants one of those flat beds on wheels for examining the underside of things.

Kitty is also a gardener & quite a talented medium.

Kitty certainly is a talented medium.

She put a spell on Gizmo and he can't figure out how to lie in his donut.

Arnold is training to be an estate agent. He doesn't live here but likes to let himself in to inspect the fixtures and fittings.

One of my cats is training to be a hitman, placing his toys strategically on the stairs or laying across the top step. Our other cat is training to be a dog by growling at anything that moves, stealing the dog food and accompanying us on walks.

Food writer - expertise mainly in butter left unattended, but very willing to branch out.

Gizmo is interested in becoming a plumber.
He likes exploring the bathroom, although most of the time he just knocks things over.

Sounds like a typical plumber to be fair!

Snarf is hoping to become a professional cuddler. KitKat is hoping to become a bed thief but I think Digby may have noticed.

Snarf doesn’t need to hope, looks like he’s nailed it! KitKat is cute enough to get away with stealing anything. Digby looks suitably unimpressed - am loving the typical Maine Coon leg dangle 😻

@Ijwwm Squirrels are a specialist subject for TBC. He has been known to bring specimens home (living or dead) for further investigation.
It eas an accidental career move. He was in IT, hence the laptop, because he wanted to work with a mouse.

That’s a level of commitment I couldn’t cope with! Previous career sounds sensible, definitely a good idea to work with something you have a strong interest in 🐭

Our cats are not the type to sit on laps but in the evening , if I sit and chat with DD (23) , the FemaleCat will park herself on DD stomach with a "Tell Me About Yor Childhood" (Thomas Dolby -Hyperactive ) look about her .
FemaleCat is not a Qualified Psychiatrist , but maybe those 3am Open University lectures are paying off for her . ?

MaleCat ......he has enough trouble being a MaleCat , no other career choices for him as yet .

I’d happily spill my worries to FC, am sure I’d come away feeling much better. Am loving the goldfish hybrid description 🤣

Linney would like to be an extra in a TV show.
Here he is, practising during an episode of Vera.

Oh, Linney needs to set his sights MUCH higher - totally deserves to be the lead in a big blockbuster. If he decides on parliament instead, I’m sure he’d be much more effective than most of those currently holding seats.

Loki has joined an elite ninja death squad - specialist manoeuvre is tripping people at the top of the stairs 🙄

Loki looks perfect for the role, great career choice to focus on your natural abilities.

Today mine are variously wanting to become:

A tuna sandwich taster
A draught excluder
A curtain-twitching neighbour-watcher

Tomorrow it will be different.

Customs officer. She must sniff and check every single thing that gets brought into the house.

MP is going to have a stellar career, what a beauty. If she can meow with a French accent then it will be another string to her bow.

Love it. Arnold sounds quite brazen and intrusive - perfect attributes for his career choice.

Linney is also quite keen on installing worktops in kitchens.
He was examining mine in this picture, and giving me some advice ("add a bowl of catfood to make it more attractive")

Sounds like the hitman training is going well. Maybe he could book an elite training session with Loki featured upthread - could expand his skill base.

Training to be a dog is admirable, smashing those “dogs will be dogs and cats will be cats” boundaries.

Great career choice. If you’re doing something you love then you’ll never work a day in your life.

Mine are more like food establishment inspectors. They sit and watch me prepare every bloody meal of mine 😹

Variety is the spice of life - no two days will ever be the same, great way to stop work boredom creeping in.
