Ooooo a ceiling fan from where? I have three in this house and they are all rubbish however that might be because they are ancient now.

As for the cooling mat use it yourself at the bottom of your bed. Cool feet equal a cooler body and lots of sleep. Bliss 🤗

I used to have one from B&Q in my bedroom but it was smaller and only had 3 blades so it wasn't very good as my bed wasn't close enough. This new one is fantastic and has a remote too.

Today very much better, though hobbled in to work nearly 2 hours late as everything took so long this morning because of back spasms etc.

And the day made completely worth while by Tobias suddenly out of the blue deciding to flop on the floor in front of me when I was stroking his neck & back to offer me access to BELLY!

And no you cynical bunch, it wasn't a trap either.

We have seen a real cat in Tallinn this evening!!!!! Spotted in an upstairs window - alas by the time my phone was out said cat had been picked up by a human and disappeared from view.
In the absence of a photo of the only real mog that we spotted, I offer these glimpses of cat culture on Tallinn.

1. spotted in a museum - pictures of a cat living in Tallinn in the 1930s
2. Description of a short film we watched in the same museum which features a real cat
3. a statue of cat with mouse on top of a tall wall and
4. a Pallas' cat in Tallinn zoo - magnificently grumpy and very furry. 😻

Cats featuring in museums, films and statues, but the only real cats being snatched by their humans as soon as they realise someone had seen them, is something sinister happening to the Tallinn cats? It sounds like the start of a sci-fi film. I think Grumpy is the man to investigate this strange phenomenon with his usual cat finding skills.

It does look like her, though as she is a bit scared of magpies chattering at her at the moment I think she has a way to go before riding on a dragon.

I bought the cats one of those cardboard cat scratchers to try and stop them scratching my furniture. Boris decided to celebrate it's assembly by doing zoomies around the room scratching the furniture as he went past. I decided to show him what it was for by scratching at it with my nails in the hope he'd get the idea, but he gave me a look like I'd gone mad and wandered off.

I was pleased when Matilda took an interest, only to wedge herself into the box part. I was about to write it off as yet another waste of money, but finally success.

I expect dragons would be excellent protection from magpies.

Last day in Tallinn. Gone to look at a flat for DS2 this morning.
TALLINN HAS DELIVERED. 😺.
The street the flat is on delivered a cat (and mice) statue and then a few yards on a very friendly NMC who was more than happy to accept a stroke or two.
