Thank you. 😊. He's 6 1/2 kilos of ridiculousness and cuteness, who high fives anyone who comes into the house just in case they're carrying Dreamies.

Can we see a more visible photo of him?

lionseptember · 26/06/2025 18:50

Me bitey never My previous cat furrabella. She lived till she was 17 and was the one who invited Oliver to join our cat family

Bitey cats are called 2 stroke cats, cos 2 strokes and the teeth come out. 😉

You'll be bloody lucky getting 2 strokes in with Tobias if he's either not in the mood, or on a windowsill any windowsill.

You get one warning with the slashing razors (Wolverine has nothing on Tobias's claws) if you move your hand within about 8 inches, then both front sets plus teeth with serious intent if you try a second time.

RumNotRun · 26/06/2025 19:05

Vixen tries to be bitey sometimes, usually when I'm asking her to move off my desk, but as she has no teeth, she's more gummy than bitey. She does make up for it with her spiky little claws!

I saw this on FB and thought of all our cats who don't allow blood to be taken. www.facebook.com/share/r/1Aj6UE7BQY

I've just watched that. 🤣🤣 and Linney woke up and came through to see what was going on. He really thought there was another cat, I think.

Kitty woke up too.

Pixiedust1234 · 26/06/2025 23:05

Found you! The Stray isn't a bitey but she does show disapproval by doing a side nibble which you think is her nuzzling until you feel a sharp toothy prick.

Ahsheeit · 26/06/2025 23:33

Of course 😊

Ahsheeit · 26/06/2025 23:35

Helps if I actually add the photo

Oh lovely.

He looks like he’s got a touch of tabby in there - the M on his forehead & some stripes?

Pianoaholic · 27/06/2025 07:46

Looks like Grumpy's new NMC!

EmpressaurusKitty · 27/06/2025 08:33

Kitty’s enjoying the sun.

That’s fabulous, Grumpy.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 27/06/2025 14:59

I hope nobody objects to a bit of parental pride (human rather than cat).
We actually had an ulterior motive for visiting Tallinn at fairly short notice - DS2 is auditioning for a two year orchestral conducting course at the Estonian conservatoire.
Audition process has been all day today - he's back at the hotel and has just received an email offering a place 😁.

Now to panic - accommodation, visa, possible grants, and logistics to sort before the end of August 😲

Course in English - but he'll make an effort to learn the language.

Yes, that's amazing!

And he'll be closer than any of us to spring a selection of Excellent Cats out of Ljubljana Jail.

Well, a couple of countries away......

Actually, having consulted a map, it looks like the UK is nearer to Slovenia than Estonia is.

Oh well. I failed O - Level Geography, back in 1972.
🤣
