Frankenstein was giving me laser eyes last night.

DD2 and I went swimming this morning. The school holidays have started, so instead of having the pool to ourselves, there were countless children jumping in, and their mothers were there with a selection of babies.

Everyone was having a good time, until one of the children was sick in the shallow end, so we all had to get out.

Oh well. We got a refund, which we immediately spent in the cafe.

Linney saw me heading for the car, so decided that this must mean a visit to the V.E.T.

So he sat by this bush, where he fondly believed I couldn't see him.

Then, in case he was wrong, and I could see him, he hid under this bench.

I expect he figured that if he couldn't see me, I wouldn't be able to see him.

It's a good job cats don't come in green is all I can say. We'd constantly be losing them.

I find that cats always avoid anything which costs us money.

I'll start:

Rule 1 - If you feel sick, make sure you throw up in a really inaccessible place, to make it hard for your owners to clear it up.

Rule 2 - Failing that, throw up in their slippers.

Rule 3 - Miaow outside the back door to come in. Once in, immediately run to front door and miaow to go out
Rule 4 - repeat as often as possible for maximum impact

Make sure you leave decapitated gifts on the new rug, and not on the hard floors. Which are everywhere.

Rule 6. Wait until your slave has stocked up on your favourite food, then decide you don't like it anymore.

I've wasted loads of money on despised cat food. We all have, right?

Even now, there are two boxes in my cupboard waiting for us to donate them to a lady who feeds feral cats and takes in strays and random litters of kittens.

Actually, that reminds me. My friend drove up there once, just to donate some cat food, and she left with four kittens. As you do.
🤣🤣 Four! She told me that she HAD to take them all, because she couldn't just choose one and leave three of his siblings behind.
