Sorry to hear about Tobias and I hope the medication works.

All the meds can do is reduce any vomiting - there's nothing we can do about the lower bowel wall thickening except hope it doesn't increase much more, or at least it goes slowly. I'll probably be having to think about timing in another year or two if it carries on at the rate it has over the last year.

Kettle has spent the morning finding sunny spots. I think our kitchen might actually be a great camouflage opportunity for him, if he could manage to line up his orange and white bits successfully.

I think Kettle’s camouflage skills will improve dramatically in autumn. Although the white bits might be tricky at that point.

Are you having trouble giving him his meds? Has he stopped being sick?

Meds will be once per day & he had them in a jab yesterday, so the fun will start tonight. With him it's basically a case of finding what food he will eat with "poison" in!

He seems fine today, maybe a little more affectionate than usual and tucked into breakfast OK, even ate a bit of dry which he's been a bit off for the last few days.

What does worry me a little is that the vet reminded me that after sub-cutaneous fluids I would feel a couple of little bumps where they put it in for a couple of days while he absorbs the fluid into his tissues. But by yesterday evening there was no sign of that, so presumably he'd absorbed the whole 100ml in about 6 hours rather than a couple of days.

Fred sends his best wishes to Tobias. He's been unwell this week with an upset tummy. On a white cat, it's quite evident 😬 I bought some pet wipes to help clean him up but he squirted something on me and ran off 🤢

I've been cooking a chicken today.
I took it out of the oven a short while ago and a tabby cat immediately rocked up.

Kitty’s heard that there’s chicken on offer and says can Gizmo please save her some.

@TheBroonOneAndTheWhiteOne Kloppy is also rather fond of suitcases (any type of bag really) He would definitely put me over the 10kg limit for hand luggage 🙄
