Heard Penelope issuing orders to my mum this morning. My mum told her she’s have to wait until I came down. I was shocked. 😂😂😂

@Ellmau, my mum for telling her to wait. She’s had long experience of cat slavery, she should know better. Although I have to say it’s unusual for madam to be vocal in the morning. The demands for treats are usually in the evening, Pen must see her a soft touch. She did spend £4 on cat milk when I refused to pay that much!

Bishop Penelope (hint to the CoE for the new Archbishop of Canterbury maybe?) and Mithril the God are fabulous. I do love the other 2 of Penelope as well, especially the full on pamper day one.

Apologies, no idea about the different dress of Catholic clergy. I guess bishops (or Archbishops really) are in my mind at the mo because of the speculation about possibly having a female Archbishop of Canterbury.

I bow to your greater (and somewhat insider) knowledge of the CoE clergy. As long as she's got a strong mind, has balanced views and doesn't do what that bloody Coventry guy did and say publicly he didn't really believe, sounds good to me.

But the most important point of all - there WILL still be cathedral cats won't there?

Oops! Deepest apologies, I somehow had the idea you were CoE. Was brought up CoE but became disillusioned in the faith by happy clappy evangelists back in the late 70's/early 80's so avoided the whole subject for decades.

After sleeping most of the night in her isofix carrier, madam made a huge fuss when I put her in it. 😹. She’s settled into her suite at my parents very quickly. I have no doubt I’ll soon be demoted to second human when she sees my mum.

She’s just spent an hour communing with my mum. (She never spends that long with me!!) while I have been cradling their supposed Apex predator mithril like a baby. 🙄

Took madam to the vet last week as she’d been vomiting. £250 for bloods and couldn’t find anything wrong. Went for a follow up today and she needs a dental. I’m trying to persuade the vet to just take all her teeth out. She’s already had 6 out when she was only 3. Won’t be getting my garden done just yet then.

Penelope doesn’t see why you have a problem with any of this.
