My parents are staying. My dad greeted Penelope with “hello scraggy cat” 🙀🙀 I said he can sleep in the car. And I’ll tell her to scratch him. 😂

It was very funny hearing him grovelling to her last night. Telling her she’s a very fine cat etc. 😂

I have only just realised this week just how particular she is. She adores my mum. But won’t sit on her as she’s not sitting in the right place on the sofa, with the cushion also in the correct place. 😂😂

I have finally found something madam will play with. She loves thou se polystyrene nugget things you get in packaging. Shes chasing them around. She has loads of toys she just won’t touch!

Just be careful she doesn't start eating them! One of my previous cats would eat polystyrene given the chance - fortunately he would puke it up again, but it can be dangerous if it gets stuck in their intestines. He would sniff it out from wherever we had tried to put it out of his way. None of my other cats ever showed an interest in it.

I’ve checked that she’s not. I think they are completely biodegradable rather than plastic.

They make them out of corn starch often to reduce the risk.
Penelope’s eyes look particularly beautiful in that photo. Her operation has made such a difference to her. So good that such a stressful experience was worth it for her quality of life.

Absolutely, but having her teeth out has been the making of her. I dread to think how much discomfort she was in.

Hopefully she has got all her health issues behind her; and now has a long and happy life accepting the adoration of her subjects and being revenged upon the few who think they can make snarky remarks.

I think she’s just mildly annoyed about something. She is displeased, but definitely not Micia level of needing a new slave now.
Penelope will be very concerned about her next meal if you drop dead 💐

@learieonthewildmoor Unfortunately as Micia was a wild stray and not been in a house until coming to us in February she is constantly scared- even though she looks a bit stern! I would love to get to the point where we have the cuddly relationship @Toddlerteaplease has with her lovely Pen

Pen is in the cattery. I can’t believe the photos they’ve posted. She looks so chilled out. She used to look really miserable in All their photos. They commented last time that she was much more confident.
