I don't blame her. She looks crosser than she has since her operation.

A neighbourhood interloper chased Pen into the house last night and really upset her. He’s very shy so I’m surprised he came in. Poor girl was petrified. Took quite a while to calm her down. I’ve got six foot fences all round the garden. Stops her getting out but doesn’t stop occasional visitors.

The cheeky so and so! It is Penelope’s garden and house. She looks like she’s telling you all about it in that picture.

We have an interloper who comes into our garden. Well, ours and most other gardens on the street. We have two big cats, one a 9kg male. You’d think other cats would be quaking in their boots to come here. No, the slimline white and tabby (who we call socks) boldly (and rather bravely) holds his ground. I don’t want to frighten him, but also don’t want our felines under siege on their own home turf. Therefore I just walk slowly, and calmly, towards him. He makes his way out likewise slowly, usually into someone else’s garden.

He gives me slow blink kisses, which confuses me.

Poor little Pen.
