She is such a cute little cat!

Thanks, I’m biased but she’s a lovely little thing. Shes finally put some weight on and looks better for it.

She is tiny, but mighty.

Well I have no idea why after 2.5 years Pen had finally decided to start climbing in with my dirty laundry. She did it yesterday then had second thoughts and it was very funny, watching her work out how she could get out. I might have laughed, a lot. 🤣🤣

Aww, bless her. We call this kind of thing 'finding a new puss place' in my house - suddenly they're in their new favourite spot all the time, and just when you've got used to it, they find a different one.

I am on nights, madam kept squeaking at me. Turns out she was demanding to have tummy rubs and chin scratches. She’s never done that before!

She's becoming more normal cat all the time.

A post came up
on my local BBC News site about a stunning exotic short hair that’s in the cat protection site near me. She’s gorgeous, I so want her. But don’t think I can afford another complex cat. She apparently had eye ulcers, so I did email them to explain about Pen’s issues, as something to consider as my vet hadn’t thought of it. She sounds very similar personality to Pen though. Penelope is totally different, now from when I had the other two. But not going to risk it. Just feel sad that I can’t help her

back from the shelter. They really appreciated the information and will pass it on to the team caring for her. Hopefully she’ll find a good home. Just wish it was with me. But I can’t take on another with issues.

You’ve provided help already for this cat, by outlining issues which may arise in her future care, and I presume how you/ your vet resolved them. As I understand it, it is not that you do not wish to give this cat a home, but you recognise the potential problems which may arise as ‘Miss’ Penelope doesn’t suffer room mates gladly.

Your shoulders are only so broad, and you carry what you can.

P.s. I have to add that Penelope is looking very well, and happy.

I don’t know how to post a link. I do wonder whether Pen would be more receptive to a freind now. As she totally different cat from what she was. However they would absolutely have to not have a playful bone in their body. As that was the issue with both Paddington and Dottie, they just wanted to play with her. She got on well with Dottie, and happily ate with her and sat on the bed with her. Until she learned to play. Anyway I don’t have the money for a cat with issues since Pens teeth wiped me out! My back account has not recovered!

My sister has met Pen this morning, and is insulting her lack of a neck. Rude. I think she secretly loved her though.

She’s mean about all my cats. But since she said she just wanted to squish her. And said that anything that fluffy should be cuddled I think she Thought she was really cute. My mum
thinks Penelope is controlling. 🤣🤣

It’s madam’s birthday tomorrow, and I have no idea what to get her. She doesn’t like treats, toys, beds etc. so I’m stuck. I’ve bought Mithril some treats that he loves instead. 🫣

Are you kidding me? A good book, of course. Mind you, if she enjoys a reading of the Minutes, I think she’ll be happy with most things. A promise that she will be read to. I think your mother might be her very favourite reader in the whole world, but you’ll have to step in when needs must.
