Her ears seem much better. But the poor thing looks like a scarecrow as the drops are oily and all over her fur! She does love my parents. But has only met my sister once. The problem was that sis approached her, which always makes her run for cover. Had she left her alone, Pen would have come downstairs.

My BIL pretends not to like cats, however tolerated Mithril living with them for 6 months. 😂 his mum also claims to hate cats. But happily had Mithril on her knee. I'm going to stay with the parents at the end of the week and Pen is coming too. (Can easily keep them

Penelope is taking more stuff than I am. 😂 and that's not including the litter tray.

I have been informed that a Lidl bag does not befit her status. Her stuff didn't fit in the Waitrose bag. Or the Booths bag.

She's a classy lady and needs to be treated as such.

Stopped for a drink half way. Pen is being an angel.

She's already exploring the penthouse suite. And she's found the litter tray.

Came home from a walk and she's sitting on the windowsill. I can't believe how quickly she's settled. She's purring her head off next to me.

My mum sat and read to her, but Pen was purring to much and wanted tummy rubs.

Well, Penelope’s weekend in the Lake District was a definite success. She travelled beautifully both ways. And adored all the extra attention. I was much more relaxed knowing she was happy. Although my cat sitters are good, she hides from her. She was so confident and adored exploring our room and bathroom.

Madam is unimpressed that she’s confined to the lounge while the carpets are being cleaned. She’s also banned from the garden as I’ve sprayed weed killer. Her day will get even worse later when she has to go to the vet.

Vet happy that her ears are looking much better. Waiting for in house swab results. But she thinks they’ll be clear.

That is a great shot. If you ignore the fact she’s incredibly pissed off, you can admire her beautiful eyes very well.

It does make me a bit sad that her looks have changed since her surgery. But she’s so much more comfortable so that’s all that matters.

She looks much more Persian now. Not having to worry that she’s got an eye ulcer is an upside, too.
Eyes like tiny pumpkins 😍

I think the fur around her eye has finally grown back. If it wasn’t for one I being restiched, really tightly it would look symmetrical. She is a tiny pumpkin.

I accidentally left my computer logged in when I went for lunch. When I got back my colleagues had invited all the ward staff to Penelope’s cat christening. 🤣🤣🤣 Apparently pet plus ones are allowed.
