Haha, yes the grooming bills. I swear her hair cost more than mine to maintain!

Ha ha yes. It used to cost me £45 a time to get the late Magic’s hair done. Mine only costs about £30!

Took Penelope to get her ears checked as there are bald spots behind her ears. Thought I’d try out the new isofix carrier. She got in herself. She was unimpressed when I zipped her up. 😂😂

Ears are fine. She thinks the bald spots maybe from the ear drops. Or just needs some omega 3. The thrive food she’s on, doesn’t have any gravy. So I wonder if that’s drying her out a bit.

Had to contact Pad’s bee owner as it turned out his chip hadn’t been re registered to her. He’s doing really well and adores his brother. I miss him loads, but he has completely fallen on his paws

Is someone chopping onions in here? 🥲 So pleased for such a happy outcome for Pads, he was obviously a delightful cat but not a good match for Penelope.

I turned the cushions over in the teepee, so the cotton side is on top. Penelope went in it straight away!! She sat in it for about half an hour. She’s the only cat I’ve met that doesn’t like fleece! Weirdo!

Or maybe she does like fleece but thought it would be more fun to make you turn the cushions! So pleased things have worked out so well for Paddington.

@MissyPudsi wouldn’t put it past her. She’s remarkably intelligent for a Persian. She has an entire brain cell.

@Toddlerteaplease I think the whole stupid thing is an act with Persians. My late girl looked all cute and fluffy but she was an evil little madam at times! I swear to god smirked after she pooped next to her litter tray and watched me clean it up, while I was on crutches.

Hmm, I think you could be right. My other girls could be quite clever when it suited them. Although Paddington, the only boy I’ve had genuinely was as thick as mince.

As the owner of 3 boys and a girl, the girl is far, far more intelligent than the boys.

My parents are staying at the minute. My mum has just come to ask me if I was aware that Penelope jumps onto the storage unit in the garden and is trying to get onto the fence. Arghhh!!! I’ve only seen her do it once ages ago. I thought she’d not tried again. She’s currently walking round the house shouting at us all. No idea what she wants! (Penelope that is, not my mum!)

Ollie’s mum has shared a pic of a red exotic in a rescue. I would love to apply for her. But can’t. 😰😰

I spend far too much time looking at persian and exotic rescues. I really shouldn't as its not the right time for me to get a new cat but I do miss having one. Mind you I didn't think I was ready for my last one, who arrived unexpectedly via the cat distribution system, but we managed.

Taking Pen with me to stay at my parents for a few days. My mum has phoned to tell me that “ the penthouse suite is prepared for her ladyship”. At least I know my place in the pecking order!

People watching at a service station. She was as good as gold in the journey. She’s currently hiding in the bathroom. But roll come out shortly, now my dad has gone downstairs. 😂
