My new pal!

Hi mumsnetters. I’ve been to view this gorgeous cat today. Pending a home check, I’ve reserved him and will be bringing him home next week! I’m in love.

My cat did the same when I'd only had her for a couple of weeks. I looked for her for ages then noticed little sooty footprints on the rug. Completely freaked me out and it was well and truly blocked up after she finally emerged!

Oh naughty boy . One of mine shot up the chimney within seconds of being brought home. I thought the house was cat escape proofed, I was wrong. I was worried about the effect of soot on her recent spay scar ( she was a flighty single mum to six but a very indifferent mum, she kept moving the kittens into her litter tray at the vets where they had all been dumped) but the vet said it would be fine, and it was. Since then any new cat has been greeted with a fully blocked up chimney.

Hi fans… sorry it’s been a while. It’s taken my human until now to stop finding piles of soot all over the house

Hi Rodney fans- sorry we’ve been AWOL for quite some time! Rodney is very at home now… still skittish at times but I think that’s what comes from being a stray. He’s been outside a couple of times and I’m hopefully getting a cat flap fitted soon. He’s currently moulting all over my house but usually appears when I get in from work and joins me on the sofa for a fuss. I wouldn’t be without him! ❤️
