Hi mumsnetters. I’ve been to view this gorgeous cat today. Pending a home check, I’ve reserved him and will be bringing him home next week! I’m in love.

I have so much love and respect for anyone who takes on a rescue cat. Rodney has had one stroke of well deserved luck, and he’s shortly about to have another. Hope he settles in quickly, OP. A very handsome chap, is Mr. Rodney!

I might be very biased but he’s very handsome isn’t he. All the way from his gorgeous bulky head to strangely long back toe.

I was going to get a kitten but there are lots of rescue cats needing love out there, and I saw Rodney and it was love at first sight!

I was thinking he’d been neutered late! He’s a gorgeous boy and I’m sure you’ll be easy to train!

He looks badass, but in a good way. I also thought unneutered tom when I saw him because of the shape of his face, which makes sense if he’s only recently been neutered. I hope he settles well. Our neighbour’s late ginger tom was super-friendly. Gingers do have a good rep.

He’s ‘peach’ coloured I think, that soft shade of ginger
