Disgusting video footage of the West Ham player both kicking and slapping his bengal cat.

I'm not posting it because it's too distressing, but it has been posted online by the Express Newspaper.

There is also a change.org petition demanding that West Ham, the Police and the RSPCA take further action...please support and spread it!

Wtf is wrong with the Met and the RSPCA they they haven't had this fucker arrested and charged?
Was the child his? If do, where is social services? Because this would clearly be an unfit parent.
He should be sacked - I wouldn't want to support a team that tolerated this behaviour. His apology means nothing and is an insult to peoples intelligence.

In a side note when I worked in a care home a staff member was accused of kicking the dog of a resident. While this was being investigated the same staff member slapped a different resident, in front of witnesses. If someone is cruel to animals they have the capacity to be cruel to anyone who is vulnerable.

@Lonecatwithkitten well if you get enjoyment from hurting animals because their small and can’t fight back women and children are a natural extension of that.

So Sarah moulds the teacher is sacked over what happened with the horse. He slaps a cat out of a child’s hands and kicks it around in front of a child and is filmed laughing and firstly the police aren’t investigating? Second he isn’t suspended? Or fired?

What because she’s a woman and he’s a man?? What’s the reason for treating them so vastly differently??

Can't speak about the Met but the RSPCA does not have powers to arrest. They have the power to be an investigating body. So they would caution and interview the people involved, send the case file to their HQ and a decision would be made whether to lay charges at the magistrates court or not. This is a cut and dried case and I can't believe it would not be pursued. But they're not going to give a minute by minute update on what they're doing. And they're going to make sure that an Insoector is not going to be stuck with all the flak of such a high profile case.

And just to add, they'd probably need to have a vet say that the animal had been caused unnecessary suffering. It all takes time.

I hate cats, but that video is awful. He clearly has hit the ball with his head too many times. Why would anyone do this for "fun"?!

Less than half a mile from the old West Ham ground is the Celia Hammond Cat Rescue centre. Maybe a very large donation from this abuser would be in order, he could drop of the cheque when he takes the cats their yo be rehomed to a loving new home.
