Disgusting video footage of the West Ham player both kicking and slapping his bengal cat.

I'm not posting it because it's too distressing, but it has been posted online by the Express Newspaper.

There is also a change.org petition demanding that West Ham, the Police and the RSPCA take further action...please support and spread it!

It's a red flag. If your bf treats animals badly then they'll likely treat you badly too.

I will be extremely angry if the RSPCA do nothing about this. I have found them to be utterly useless in the past despite being given photographic evidence of severe animal abuse. The animals must be removed from that property and he must be prosecuted. I am sick of psychopaths who take their shit out on defenceless children and animals.

SinisterBumFacedCat · 08/02/2022 13:40

Why haven’t the cats been removed from him? What an absolute cunt.

TofuDelights · 08/02/2022 13:42

Absolutely horrific, signed

SinisterBumFacedCat · 08/02/2022 13:43

It all comes down to money. Like that very rich woman who’s dog attacked and killed a seal on the banks of the river Thames at Barnes. No prosecution. Dog not destroyed. Nice sweetener paid to the charity who had to put the poor seal down.

If this was going on in a working class area they would be all over it.

bigbeatmanifesto · 08/02/2022 13:49

Signed, what a horrible person.

caranations · 08/02/2022 13:53

Despicable evil fucking bastard.

Boot the fucker all the way over the Channel back to France.

Walkingthedog46 · 08/02/2022 13:53

In my experience the RSPCA are useless

1happyhippie · 08/02/2022 13:59

Signed.
I do hope the rspca step up here. So many times they don’t seem to do anything regarding animal abuse.

On a side note, i used to like him when he played at Chelsea. Thought he was a decent bloke
How wrong was I!

I doubt the replacement will do much but the cat loving population of the Internet will not let this lie. Horrible man.

FunkyPhantom · 08/02/2022 14:47

I've looked at quote a few football forums and he will be getting untold abuse for this, wherever he plays. I know it's not proper justice but he's now the target. 20,000 people singing ' Cat kicker ' at him certainly won't be enough, but a small token from opposing fans ( and possibly his own ?? ) This won't be forgotten in a hurry !!

If West Ham do suspend him, it might just be smoke and mirrors as he picked up an injury at the weekend and could possibly be out for a while regardless.

Whatever else the club do as a whole, his manager is a tough disciplinarian and won't put up with shit like this, so wait and see what Moyesey says.

Vinorosso74 · 08/02/2022 14:48

Also signed. He should be prosecuted and West Ham need to take action too. Kids (and some adults) look up to Premiership footballers, it needs to be made clear if you're abusive then there are consequences.

Floralnomad · 08/02/2022 14:55

Hopefully with enough of an outcry they will prosecute - they are prosecuting that woman for kicking / punching her horse .

Batfinkwings · 08/02/2022 14:59

I've signed this.

He's an absolute piece of shit. As is whoever is following him around filming him and laughing.
It says a lot about a person and their morals if they think it's acceptable to physically harm a small, defenceless creature.

I don't follow football, but in recent years it seemed to me that some of the younger footballers were a new, more respectful breed. However it's clear a lot of them still seem to think they can do what they like and are above the law.

As a previous poster mentioned, the primary school teacher who slapped and kicked a horse lost her job. The outcome of this should be no different.

Spudlet · 08/02/2022 15:01

The RSPCA won’t be prosecuting for much longer, it will be down to the CPS.

I don’t want to watch a video, the description was bad enough. Poor cat.

Want2beme · 08/02/2022 15:14

RSPCA getting grief over it. I'm not on twitter, so hope link works.

mobile.twitter.com/RSPCA_official/status/1490988891817771017?cxt=HHwWkoDQzeufh7EpAAAA

Vile individual. Wonder how he treats the poor cats in general?! West Ham need to treat him with the contempt he treats animals with.

rubydoobydoo · 08/02/2022 15:21

Poor cat, I just tried to share the link on the kother thread but it got hidden then removed. Can I link to this thread without getting both deleted?

We own a couple of the biggest nobs ever as cats and it Reay upsets me to imagine them being treated like this. I haven't seen the video and don't want to, the description is upsetting enough - and for them to be laughing about it? Pathetic excuses for human beings, him and his brother Angry

ChaToilLeam · 08/02/2022 15:23

Fuck him, horrible git, hurting a helpless animal and finding it funny. I hope the cat is removed to a loving home and he has the bloody book thrown at him. Teaching his kids to hurt animals is abusive as well.

TheOnlyMrsMac · 08/02/2022 15:35

Threads now also in Chat, Pets and AIBU.

Lonecatwithkitten · 08/02/2022 15:38

As vets we are being trained to consider that often where the pets are abused the children and other adults maybe abused.
