Blimey - I had my booster a good few weeks ago! I didn't realise people were struggling to get it. Had my flu jab this year too which I normally decline.

I have finally succumbed and ordered Leroy a "Santa" jacket from Mynwood. It's been dispatched so hopefully I'll be posting pictures soon. If he hasn't killed me.

She was fine with the steroid tablet crushed into the lik e lik but the bathroom must taste foul.

Thought I would join in. Some may remember we had a rescue cat for 4 days before she had to be put to sleep for a degenerative muscle condition. Then we bit the bullet and got our new kitten. Well she is a massive 5 months old now and just so settled. Mad as a box of frogs, loves food and is like the labrador of the cat world and will snaffle anything she can (bang goes the organic, high meat content food I have brought her up with!)

Our daughter is her bestie. They go everywhere together. She even sits on the edge of the bath at bath time with her (although she is more hesitant since she fell in last week ) it has been an amazing addition to the family and was the right decision to get her.

Antibiotics do tend to taste quite bad. You can try cooking some chicken livers and seeing if that’s enough to tempt her. Most cats go mental for chicken livers.

She had been going crazy over the new carpet we had laid and I think got a bit hot and bothered.

I was ill in bed with Covid last week, and MrCat was curled up next to me, when dh brought me some buttered toast with Marmite. He'd barely got back downstairs when I had to yell for him to rescue me from maniac cat who was desperate to eat my toast! The smell of Marmite turned my placid, sleepy, fluffball into an insane climber scrambling up me to get to the plate that I was holding above my head.

He likes popcorn, too.

Ours gets like that over Turkey thighs.
