If I remember correctly Dexy wasn't terribly impressed with Col at first and then they became mates. I think he'll be fine in a couple of days. I also think he'll show off in front of them, the best way to play with toys, the best way to climb trees and the all the perfect sleeping spots

I know he hissed and everything. Hopefully he will get used to seeing them through the window before they get introduced ( if they want it)

Apparently ceiling height isn't enough

You need to cut a hole through and take it up to the ceiling in the room above.

Their just able to climb at an advanced level.

They're currently racing the full length of the bedroom chasing each other back and forth under the bed

Mine do this but only for a few hours in the morning. They take it in turns to chase each other from the living room to the kitchen and back then have crazy wrestling matches.

There are many very attractive cats on these threads. But @Oldraver - yours are the first that I really want to steal

Trev and Katrina are lovely, Oldraver, as well as gifted and talented . Excellent cat tree and dresses too! Hope Dexter gets used to the kittens. Funny how Dexter looking at the kittens through the door gives off a whole different vibe to TC lurking outside Grumpy's door!

Well I think TC is very similar to Dexter in that they think they own the house

Yes these have wrestling matches and she does occasionally Yelp, then goes in and bites him back, im surprised they don't damage each other

I didn't wake till 9am and popped my head over the dye of the bed and they were in their drawer, they've totally ignored the bed I made up for them with their blankies from the old home with their smells on

They are also ignoring the fluffy donut bed but love the cat caves

Well, Dexy is invited in and poor TC has to peer forlornly from the doorway :(

The Oldravers are better hosts than the Grumpys! :)

From what I understand Dexter is a purrfect house guest. Well mannered and friendly.
I'd happily let Dexter in if he turned up (assuming my lot didn't mind).
TC however is a bitey, scratchy, hissy thing when he comes on the house.

And since we're going all biblical, who else could this be describing?

Well Dexy joined me on the patio for coffee, had two Dreamies peered in the doors and buggered off. They were playing on the tree so not sure if he saw them. He came running over and threw himself at my feet when I was doing the rounds of the garden. He does bare him tummy to you but wow betide if you try and tickle him

Mica just caught a sparrow hawk . NOT what I expected to find in the garden!

@Grumpyoldpersonwithcats fingers crossed. I managed to shut Mica in, it hopped around the garden for a while with a very wonky wing and then flew very low over the fence into the field next door. I'm not sure what I was more scared of, the bird or the cat!

I was thinking has the cat survived.... a sparrow hawk is mightily impressive

Ah, but Justonedayatatime11 doesn't have cats. They're leopards.
