Scarsdale Vets have good reviews, but like Cockburn's it has a recent bad one.

I’m thinking Brightside in Swadlincote but I’ll put Burton vets on my list.

One of us needs to get an onlyfans account and I’m too old 😂 so it’ll have to be her.

The other thing you can do is call your local rspca office and ask them which vets they pay bills for. Sign of a good’un.

If push comes to shove I’ve got a list of reputable online vets from my vet, but I’m hoping you can get better service than that.

Long term it's worth checking where they send you for OOH emergencies. Parents live 20 miles south of Shrewsbury, their old vets sold out and the emergency practice was in Bridgenorth!

Well Puddy bear has perked up overnight and is now bouncing around, running up and down the stairs, jumping up onto windowsills like a little gymnast. I can’t even feel a scab on her leg. I’ll monitor.

Might re-name her Lazarus.

@swampytiggaa - I've heard that there's major delays on the M6 due to bridge repairs at J10 so you could well get caught up in it. Forewarned is forearmed, as my nan used to say.

Well they slept last night in a old drawer under the bed and had pulled the sleeping bag I'd put to stop them falling through the headboard, so going to have to rearrange that. They played for a bit which makes a racket every time they clanged on the metal

Where a bit wary this morning like they'd forgotten who I was and that I was snuggle material last night. They're not a cuddly ad Col but he spent the first week snuggled in my armpit or across my neck, so at least I got some sleep last night

They are both currently asleep in their cat cave

Dexy is NOT impressed, though I think it's in a oh guck there is two of them

Trev just carried on with his muslin (he's dragging it all over) and Trina was nonplussed

Poor Dexy! He's thinking 'but that's MY house'. :(
