The Raver kittens are just gifted & talented. You’ve either got it or you haven’t.

Oldraver · 07/08/2021 21:39

Sorry I meant to edit out my fat face 😂

Supersimkin2 · 07/08/2021 22:53

You look most comfy and so do the kitlings, basking in Mum’s look of love.

Capns had 7 meals and helpfully cleaned up a packet of crispy treat topping.

Oldraver · 08/08/2021 10:16

Well Trev spent the night on the bed, and they have slept in a few places but not any of the official beds

They've found the cat cave though

Adorable!

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2021 12:12

I love that pattern on what you're wearing Oldraver!

Do tell 😊

@YesItsMeIDontCare

I love that pattern on what you're wearing Oldraver!

Do tell 😊

It's from Popsy and I think is called kitty and wool ( all the dresses have names)

Earlier on in the year I said I would only wear cat print clothes, 😀 didn't quite manage it

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2021 12:48

So it must have pockets too!!!!!!!!

Thank you. I am going* shopping.

(* by "going" I mean standing in the garden with Leroy while I mooch about online)

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 14:15

Puddys stopped bolting but she had a scab on her leg, flea bite? And she’s bitten the scab off and now it’s bleeding but the local vets won’t take her on. Bertie’s vet is miles away and she won’t let me salt water bathe it. She’s limping on it now and the pets at home vet is now shut on sundays.

She is not a happy Puddy at all right now and I’m an evil human who tries to get cats wet. She’s not licking it though so hopefully it will scab over.

We’ve blocked her safe space off so we can watch her which has not gone down well at all. So now she’s doing flap cat ears & ignoring me.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 14:19

One ear is cocked backwards, it’s getting uncomfortable by the looks of it but she’s not budging.

She's showing you who's boss. It should scab over, don't worry.

Cap'ns asleep on my side of the sofa and I'm trying to ingratiate myself into him letting me share. No luck so far.

Oldraver · 08/08/2021 15:04

Poor Puddy, she's letting you no she is displeased

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 15:08

She’s bleeding now. She growled at me 😮 Asbo never growled at me. Vets are all shut of course.

Looks like your sitting on the floor for the rest of the day now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 15:14

There must be an instruction on a stone tablet somewhere “thou shall get sick on the Lords day*”

*Bonus points awarded if the next day is a bank holiday Monday.

All this & I have no pitta breads for my taramasalata 😭

NotMyCat · 08/08/2021 15:27

She's definitely doing an Ollie
Extra points awarded when it was mid pandemic, I was shielding and 5 mins after the vets closed. Excellent timing

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2021 15:52

Why on Earth won't the local vets take her on? I've never heard of that before.

Hope she feels better soon though. Leroy got in to a right mess with his flea problem so I can sympathise.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 16:01

I don’t know, they wouldn’t even sell me advantage.

I’m ringing one in the other town tomorrow otherwise it’s a trip to Birmingham. She’s terrified of her box too just for good measure.

NowYouListenToMeFella · 08/08/2021 16:57

They are gorgeous oldraver.

Oh fluffy the poor thing. Hopefully you will get sorted with the vet situation.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2021 18:44

Roughly where are you Fluffy? I'm pretty good at Google and I've got the patience to check reviews.

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2021 19:08

Try the local vet again tomorrow morning and hope someone different answers the phone.

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2021 19:09

Cut v thin slices of bread and grill one side for the Tarama.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2021 19:12

In between Burton & Coalville. I’ve found one in Swadlincote that won vet practice 2021 but if they won’t take her on my usual vet will. Dh, who has done precisely two vet visits in 2009 is the one who doesn’t like the idea of travelling.

My microwaves just broken down as well. 3rd one this year. Can’t find receipt either 🤦🏻‍♀️

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2021 20:00

FGS Fluffy it’s not your week is it. The Sainsbury’s £35 microwave lasts forever.

Not even a pillowcase May disturb Sunday sofa time.

Burton Vets have the best reviews, and there's Vets4Pets at Pets@Home in both Coalville and Burton. Cockburn's in Coalville have good reviews but a very recent appalling one.
