So daughter gets cat. House cat. Arranges for spay. Cat escapes, comes back 2 days later. Yes we know where this is going.
So a litter of 6 were born yesterday.
Would love one myself but have a dog.
I will , for those interested at looking at cute kitten pictures, add a picture daily as I can.
I don't want this thread turning into a irresponsible cat owner thread.
I'm sharing the love of cuteness in these dark and depressing times.

So quick further details so not to drip feed.
Mum about year old
Think dad is the half Bengal stalker in the back yard for the past week , pacing the dustbins
They made a nursery area in a spare room.
Cat chose under the bed.
Daughter leaves her alone. Cat meows until she has human company in her decided nursery area.
Hopefully she will move the kittens to a more suitable area once they become a bit more mobile

Oh get one, the dogs more in danger from the cat than the cat is!.

I do wish people would neuter cats earlier though, our vet insisted 6 months and our Bengal was sooo feisty prior to bauble removal.

I have a dog and two cats OP (from kittens, he was 6 when the first one arrived). It is possible if you do a gentle introduction, just saying 😊 They are gorgeous ❤

Nah , dog loves to stalk, chase, kill and eat small cuddly things.
I'm not a huge cat fan. Just kittens are so cute.

They are so cute. The white/grey one has very unusual markings. I hope they are found lovely homes.

Ohhhh cuteness overload. My current kitten (now 7 months old) was from a friend whose cat got out before being spayed due to covid. I could try and talk dp round to another if she's looking for homes?!

We could only feel 3 kittens , so those 3 have homes. The other 3 arrived about an hour after the others. Bit of a surprise! My mums having the 2 grey kittens

I've named the one I would love to have but can't Juno . My partner isn't a cat person either. Mind you, I wasn't a dog person until dog arrived.....

Future reference though, a cat or dog for that matter can still be spayed if you suspect a pregnancy in the early weeks.

Most vets would happily do it to reduce the amount of dogs and cats

Oh they are lovely!
Cat person here, I say you'll fall in love with one and want one.
In my experience cats rule the roost when they live with dogs and they do tend to become friends. I'd love regular kitty updates. 😻

(Don't tell my kittens but I wasn't a cat person until we got ours. They are wonderful. Now I walk up and down the street shaking cat food and calling for them if I don't see them for 20 minutes....remember they are still quite young I don't want them getting lost.......yesterday one was poorly and I was so worried....she was fine by evening but I had already discussed whe I would take her to the vets etc etc)

I wish my cat would accept a new one....I have a kitten sized hole in the home
