So daughter gets cat. House cat. Arranges for spay. Cat escapes, comes back 2 days later. Yes we know where this is going.
So a litter of 6 were born yesterday.
Would love one myself but have a dog.
I will , for those interested at looking at cute kitten pictures, add a picture daily as I can.
I don't want this thread turning into a irresponsible cat owner thread.
I'm sharing the love of cuteness in these dark and depressing times.

Lovely. Will mum be keeping one with her?

drinkingwineoutofamug · 10/03/2021 20:04

Yes, it's one of the darker greys. Was meant to be the white and grey , we called him Juno, but someone they know who lost a cat recently so he's going to them.

Morning. Vets trip yesterday, they had to hand them over at the door.
So they had 3 girls and 3 boys, but weren't told which was which.
All gaining weight, they have a weight chart based on kitten markings!
Vet said to move them out from under the bed in a couple of weeks unless mum does that first.
Got the worming stuff which sounds like it will be fun.
And mum will be spayed , can't remember what daughter said the vet said , but something about if done too early after birth it can make mum ill ??
Will take some screen shots off latest video and post later

Got this one , the first born who stick together like glue! Sleep and tumble with each other. They are being rehomed as a pair.

😍😍😍

Elieza · 16/03/2021 19:45

Look at those tiny tails, how adorable! 💕

drinkingwineoutofamug · 20/03/2021 10:36

No photos but daughter reports the kittens are attempting to climb the bed frame (fabric) and every so often a tiny little head pops out between the mattress and frame .
Time to be moved she thinks as it's getting a bit noisy!

They’re absolutely adorable 🥰

drinkingwineoutofamug · 24/03/2021 10:52

Daughter just FaceTimed looking absolutely knackered.
Karma is a bitch 😉
So kittens are climbing out of under the bed, so they were put with mum in the back room which was already set up as a kitty nursery . All way fine until mum decided to put kittens to bed.
They didn't want to go to bed - we have all been there with our human kids - so mum puts 1 kitten at a time in bed. When she disappeared to collect next kitten, kitten number 1 has climbed out.
This went on for hours.
Mum is also in heat. She's screaming to be let out and shoving her bum in my daughters direction.
The Tom cats are back on the bins.
The tribe will be 5 weeks on Saturday, they find mums wet food interesting and stagger over to her dish and lick the gravy left over so wondering if nearly time to start weaning.

@EachandEveryone

When can mum go in?
3 weeks time I believe and they are keeping a girl so will be a mother and daughter vet trip. Well that's the plan anyway
