So daughter gets cat. House cat. Arranges for spay. Cat escapes, comes back 2 days later. Yes we know where this is going.
So a litter of 6 were born yesterday.
Would love one myself but have a dog.
I will , for those interested at looking at cute kitten pictures, add a picture daily as I can.
I don't want this thread turning into a irresponsible cat owner thread.
I'm sharing the love of cuteness in these dark and depressing times.

Mums cat has total dominance. She's a lap cat who follows my mum everywhere and even sits at the dinning room table each night to watch tea been eaten .

The proper mum cat has no interest in the 2 left over. Practically ignores them . But they sleep together.
The mum just wants to go out but still under house arrest until spay

So mums cat went to the vets today for her first lot of jabs . Vet called the cat feisty 😂
Cat likes to sit in her milk so now is on water. She's settled in well

She's gorgeous. Any black and white females that I've ever been owned by have always known their own minds and were quite bossy! The males were either thick as bricks or clever plotters.

Well they have all gone now. The mum cat doesn't seem to be too upset about it. She's too busy rolling around with her arse in the air!
She goes to be spayed on Thursday

Daughter says never again. It's actually put her off having kids 😂

Roll on Thursday. We had an ex show queen in heat once before spaying to make sure she wasn’t pg. I can still hear the racket she made. Our neutered Tom was most confused.

So daughter has had an interesting 2 days .
The bloody cat escaped. Her partner left the door open to put bins out and she was gone .
Hoping she comes back soon as for spay tomorrow.
They have said as soon as the madam turns up it's been bundled in a carrier and going to the vets and they are now very aware that she could come back pregnant again.
Daughter is beside herself with worry.

Plus point . News from kittens , they are all now black! The little boy (Juno) now looks like his mum!
So the PP who mentioned fever coat!
Met mums kitten at the weekend. Very bold! Came running up to me, rolled on her back and pawed my hands. She then sat and licked my fingers! No fear whatsoever!

Morning cat slaves . Just a long last update. All kittens are doing grand. All turned black with grey tiger stripes. Here's mums cat that has got mixed up and thinks it's a meerkat !

She's a very vocal cat, had some funny 'conversations' with her. The chair by the window is hers. If you try and sit on it , she gets behind you and tries to push you off! So out of the then 2 probable fathers , we think hers was the Bengal mix that shouted from the bins! He was tiger stripes .
