So daughter gets cat. House cat. Arranges for spay. Cat escapes, comes back 2 days later. Yes we know where this is going.
So a litter of 6 were born yesterday.
Would love one myself but have a dog.
I will , for those interested at looking at cute kitten pictures, add a picture daily as I can.
I don't want this thread turning into a irresponsible cat owner thread.
I'm sharing the love of cuteness in these dark and depressing times.

Adorable! Hard to believe my large beast was once that small and cute!

I imagine they are chasing all round the house now. Hyperactive kitties alert!

CassandraCross · 06/04/2021 12:38

So, so, cute, the adorable facial expression. Is your daughter keeping that one?

53rds · 06/04/2021 13:27

What sweet babies

drinkingwineoutofamug · 06/04/2021 17:26

Daughter has decided to just keep mum now. All kittens have good homes to go to, friends and family.

1st kitten has gone to its forever home. 5 to go.
My mum collects hers tomorrow.
Mum cat was a bit puzzled and rounded up her remaining kittens.
She goes to be spayed in 2 weeks

Does she miss the kitten?.

@Fluffycloudland77

Does she miss the kitten?.
Yes she did at first. Daughter said she went to find her other kittens and sat with them. Soon got over it apparently

Aw shame shes not keeping one

drinkingwineoutofamug · 18/04/2021 17:03

Mum has just sent a message to say her new kitten is hiding under her chair in the living room looking bit bewildered.
She's leaving it alone on the kittens terms.
Slave now for life. She's had many cats but been a long time since she had a kitten.
It's very cute, grey with black leopard spots

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2021 17:05

It’s never been alone before though.

She could keep them with mum till 12 weeks, the rescues rehome at 8 weeks out of practicality I think.

drinkingwineoutofamug · 18/04/2021 17:10

2 of them are staying longer as the new owner is going on a staycation.
The little darlings were destroying the flat. Clawed the new sofa using it as a climbing frame !
They also ganged up and were a little herd running at doors etc. And trampled in the litter tray ......
They have all been rehomed with part of the blanket they were born on.
All had 1st jab, wormed, went with food and a toy.
Mums kitten had seemed to enjoy its own company. Liked to sit on the window and people watch in the street .

Very handsome! Def looks like he's plotting something though ;)

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2021 18:59

That’s not a kitten it’s a force of nature!.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 18/04/2021 19:24

Dear God that kitten looks evil.

What's his name? Satan? Grin

drinkingwineoutofamug · 18/04/2021 19:28

Pushka pussycat .

OP posts:
drinkingwineoutofamug · 18/04/2021 19:31

She's come out to eat some food and a sniff around her new surroundings. She was top cat in the herd/tribe and was the ringleader causing trouble. But then liked to sit on the window sill plotting how to over take the world

OP posts:
Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2021 19:32

She’s just assertive with a zest for life.

Grumpyoldpersonwithcats · 18/04/2021 19:37

plotting how to over take the world
With that expression I think she might succeed.

And my apologies to Pushka for mis-gendering her. (Looks round nervously Grin)

drinkingwineoutofamug · 18/04/2021 19:42

As and when I get photos of the others , do you still want me to share?
Daughter is keeping in touch with new owners , as majority are family and close friends .
Daughter knows about this thread.

Yes, do share please. Kitten pictures are always appreciated.

Fluffycloudland77 · 18/04/2021 21:00

We’ve never turned a kitten photo down on this forum.

drinkingwineoutofamug · 19/04/2021 09:26

Morning update from my mum. Pushka slept in her bed.
Used her litter tray
Eaten breakfast , let mum pick her up for a cuddle and play, is now following mum around the house.
First part of the plan initiated. Full domination of the human slave.
