I just accidentally dropped a knife on Matt’s head.
Socks to Matt - “She dropped two kitchen rolls on me this afternoon!”
Matt to Socks - “Count yourself lucky, sis, she’s just thrown a knife at me. I think it decapitated one of my whiskers...”

:) Bet it bounced off the glorious Matt. What's the dog in for?

Matt was eating. Nothing puts him off his food. Socks is a drama queen and would have had an attack of the vapours if a sharp shiny thing had clouted her on the head, but Matt did a little jump and then nose was back in trough.
The dog (clearly a slow learner) persists in trying to make friends with them...

I got my boys a new toy from aldi yesterday. Assembled it tonight and they obviously ignored it, so I sprinkled catnip liberally inside it, and put it in the beds they're ignoring too! Worked a treat. I know the photos are crap btw. Hard to catch them!

We have that toy. Mine love it when it's assembled into a circle. One cat used to doze in the circle and swipe at the ball as it zoomed around the ring.

Even girlcat who doesn't really play, likes that toy.

Bought Ollie a self reflecting heat pad. Came as a set of 2. Highly recommend... I am sat on one WFH and am toasty

The Cap'n looks like Nemo's dissolute uncle! Nemo loves being carried around in my arms. It's like having a newborn baby again. I have revived the art of making tea one-handed.

How is little Nemo? Has he recovered?

Oh how lovely, tiny Nemo will still love it as a two-stone monster.

He has a check up tomorrow and another in a week and then he's free.

I don’t think Matt had a check up afterwards. Socks did possibly, to have her stitches out, I think.

Pretty much the same with me. Although when they rang to ask when I could go my induction day I was like, “Me? You mean I got it? Are you sure you got the right person?”
