Adding my best wishes 🐾

nettie434 · 22/12/2020 01:20

Glad Darcy is home Just and hope that things improve for you both now.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/12/2020 08:15

How is she doing today @Justonedayatatime11?.

Would a feline multivitamin supplement benefit her? It’s draining to be ill with anything and it might help get her through.

Allergictoironing · 22/12/2020 08:27

Excellent news about Darcy. Poor girl must have been hiding a lot of pain & distress, no wonder she was so ill. But onward and upward, she should get better in leaps and bounds now Smile

Justonedayatatime11 · 22/12/2020 10:18

She's eaten a very small amount and used her litter tray overnight. Had her antibiotics this morning, now just waiting until I can give her some pain relief. She's not a happy girl bless her.
@Fluffycloudland77 she has something called Complivit as it helps increase her potassium levels but also contains other vitamins.
Now I have to start looking for a permanent home for the foster boy. Can I interest anyone in a very affectionate loving Savannah?! Grin

Eating & using the tray are good signs; I assume she's getting mostly wet at the mo due to dental work?

I would have difficulty resisting scritching that lovely long elegant jaw most of the day Smile

Justonedayatatime11 · 22/12/2020 23:16

@Supersimkin2 are you ok?

Defiantly41 · 22/12/2020 23:41

Thanks Just, I was wondering how Supersimpkin & Captain V were, about time for another furry orange missive? Hope all the ladies (& Grumpy) of the litter tray are bearing up in these difficult times

YetAnotherSpartacus · 23/12/2020 09:38

Yes, do check in Lana!

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/12/2020 10:35

Darcys not eating Sad bar a mouthful here and there. What can I give her that's soft and that she can't possibly refuse?

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/12/2020 10:51

Heinz baby food?.

Scrambled egg? Cat soup - even if she just drinks the liquid, that has some goodness in it? The pate you got in for your own Xmas food?
Fluffycloudland77 · 23/12/2020 12:14

Have you got any dried catnip? Sprinkle it onto her food.

Defiantly41 · 23/12/2020 14:11

Minced poached chicken, mixed with a little of the poaching liquid? Lick e lix? Pate cat food thoroughly mashed? I was just robbed of £3 for just 4 of these but from how well they were slurped up, probably worth it.

Fluffycloudland77 · 23/12/2020 14:16

My dm bought a mincer when her favourite cat lost her teeth & needed a soft diet.

I had to eat cod roe despite hating it (love it now) but the cat had minced up joints of beef, turkey, chicken 🤨

Papergirl1968 · 23/12/2020 14:27

Tinned salmon or tuna?

QueenPawPaws · 23/12/2020 14:41

Kitten food is always a good shout, like the mum and baby pate stuff
Kitten milk
Ollie says he likes shredded roast chicken and scrambled egg but not together
Chicken broth?

QueenPawPaws · 23/12/2020 14:42

Blink cat food is pretty soft too and the natures menu stuff

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/12/2020 15:36

Thanks for all the suggestions. I shall be hitting m&s and Pets at home tomorrow morning. Before we're plunged into tier 4

QueenPawPaws · 23/12/2020 16:09

@Justonedayatatime11 this is the kind of baby food I was thinking of. Applaws kitten food is appetising too

Justonedayatatime11 · 23/12/2020 16:14

Thanks @QueenPawPaws. She's so desperate to eat bless her Sad
