If you like jewellery then you can have some of the fur set in a ring or necklace or even a resin heart. Mine was done by alchemy of angels on Facebook

coastergirl · 24/11/2020 21:25

@QueenPaws oh gosh really? I'll look into that too. You lot are amazing.

QueenPaws · 24/11/2020 21:34

@coastergirl yes she's fantastic. There's a price list on her page but she can do anything from a pandora bead to a ring. I just sent her a message and she told me what to do and she needs just a tiny bit of fur. Cried my eyes out when she sent me a pic of my rings, they're so beautiful and I love having my horse close to me

coastergirl · 24/11/2020 22:00

I'll message her.

Anybody know what to do about a cat that's desperate to go out? Walter is yelling at me and scratching at the back door. He has a litter tray that he does use. I'm terrified to let him out.

Fluffycloudland77 · 24/11/2020 22:03

Play with him.

coastergirl · 24/11/2020 22:11

He isn't interested. I've given him some dreamies and he's had lots of cuddles tonight. He just really wants to go out.

coastergirl · 24/11/2020 22:31

Got him. Snuggled up having belly tickles. I'm still wearing the jumper that Bertie was snuggled into when he died. Isolation is up tonight so I'll have to take it off in the morning and get ready for work.

@coastergirl - would he be interested in a game of Killarghh? When Leroy wants to go out but can't I put on my thick padded coat and let him wrestle my arm. Gets some energy out of him and he's quite happy for a bit.

(*Killarghh gets its name from the Killer going in for the Kill and you saying Arghh when said Killer gets a non-protected bit)

QueenPaws · 24/11/2020 22:37

@YesItsMeIDontCare I just read that to Ollie and he looked horrified. He says da bird toy is JUST FINE thank yooooo Grin

coastergirl · 24/11/2020 22:53

I don't think Walter is the type for Killaaarrgh, but thank you for the suggestion. He seems to have accepted his fate for tonight. Sat next to me sulking.

I laughed at the thought of Ollie saying that!

Papergirl1968 · 24/11/2020 23:03

Ollie is such a gentle soul.
I’m missing his Facebook page Queen! And the guest appearances by Paws... Smile

YesItsMeIDontCare · 24/11/2020 23:09

@QueenPaws - Ah, now Leroy took one look at Da Bird and demanded to know exactly why we were wiggling a namby-pamby piece of feathery shit at him.

He does agree with Ollie about Ribbon though.

Glad Walter's settled now, even if it is with a sulk. Sulking is easier to deal with than paws-up-the-door-while-meowing-pathetically!

QueenPaws · 24/11/2020 23:35

Paws is here. He's eaten the wet food, the dry food, climbed in the food cupboard and is now spark out on my desk chair

Papergirl1968 · 24/11/2020 23:47

Maybe tonight will be the night he stays!

QueenPaws · 24/11/2020 23:48

I'm so sorry. Poor Bertie. You absolutely did the right thing though. I lost my first cat to accidental poisoning - it was awful - the vet said he might possibly pull through and we kept on trying but in the end all we did was delay his suffering. You've been so brave and so loving.

QueenPaws · 25/11/2020 07:38

Well @Papergirl1968 was right....

Supersimkin2 · 25/11/2020 09:03

Paws stayed???!!!!! GrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrinGrin

QueenPaws · 25/11/2020 09:05

Got up at 7.30am as human wanted the chair. Had brekkie before I left

@QueenPaws You've tamed MN's favourite Bad Boy.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/11/2020 11:01

Still thinking of you Coaster Flowers.

Papergirl1968 · 25/11/2020 11:12

Oh I’m so pleased, Queen. Now he has experienced the full bed and breakfast service, the next logical step is for him to just move in.
Hope you’re doing ok. Coaster. Jewellery to remember Bertie by would be a lovely thing to keep.

nettie434 · 25/11/2020 12:09

Oh how lovely for Paws - he does looked very settled, QueenPaws.

I also just wanted to add some thoughts and Flowers for you Coastergirl

coastergirl · 25/11/2020 20:11

Love this with Paws.

I've been back at work today. Struggled, a lot. It's just so unfair and so achingly sad.

Supersimkin2 · 25/11/2020 20:37

@coastergirl, yes, it is desperately sad. I am so so sorry. But you were brilliant and did everything possible.
