what shameless bastards - well done that pizza man.

Drugs - junkies love a charity box. Apparently shoplifting has got much more difficult because of social distancing so presum the dregs are ramping up.

My assistant under gardener is fertilising my plant pot!

Just like the gardener in Downton Grin

Justonedayatatime11 · 18/07/2020 19:11

The original new cat is arriving Tuesday. In theory. Unless the breeder goes awol again. Not sure how I feel about it now!

Papergirl1968 · 18/07/2020 19:44

Oh how exciting, Just.
Unless you don’t want to get too excited in case she lets you down.
Did she say why she’d vanished for a few days?

Justonedayatatime11 · 18/07/2020 19:45

Not a word Paper. I think I don't want to get too excited in case she doesn't show.

nettie434 · 18/07/2020 22:24

Hope Charlie's new partner in Curtain Crime arrives on Tuesday Just - or even more that that both keep each other too busy to worry about interfering with the decor.

You have a fantastic choice of cuisine Queen. Luckily I have been out for dinner tonight so am too full to feel chip envy.

Hope M&S has reopened Supersimkin2.

Supersimkin2 · 18/07/2020 23:05

Yay Just.

Just had M&S roast lamb dinner, Capn had the gravy. Chippy open tomorrow, slaver.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 19/07/2020 13:27

I do hope she arrives Just! I bet she takes one look at Chuckles and does her Mummy thing and puts him Under the Paw though!

QueenCT · 19/07/2020 14:50

Today is a delivered roast dinner. Two courses for £15 Grin Ollie has an eye on the potatoes

Supersimkin2 · 19/07/2020 17:02

Phwoar. Was it beef or lamb or what??

coastergirl · 19/07/2020 18:19

Oh yum. I want! Very broke though.

I've spent the day waging war on bastarding fleas. I thought they had gone but my gorgeous five year old has been ravaged by them 😢 I've a fair few too. I've sent him to my parents for the night and blitzed the place, used foggers, everything hoovered again.

These two are not remotely repentant. They will be when I do their treatments again. Advice is repeat after a week if it's still a problem.

It was honey and mustard ham Smile

Fluffycloudland77 · 19/07/2020 18:59

Which treatment are you using @coastergirl?

YesItsMeIDontCare · 19/07/2020 19:27

@QueenCT

It was honey and mustard ham Smile
I'm having beef bourguinon. Unfortunately, unlike our own posh Queen, I'm having to cook my own.
Papergirl1968 · 19/07/2020 19:37

And which other course, Queen?
Starter or pud?
I cooked roast beef for me, dd1 and elderly DM.
The dog tried to contribute to the meal by catching a pigeon. It was alive and looked ok but wasn’t flying last time we checked. Can’t see it at the moment though.

QueenCT · 19/07/2020 20:15

Pudding Grin sticky toffee with cream

Papergirl1968 · 19/07/2020 20:17

Lovely!

coastergirl · 19/07/2020 22:24

@fluffy it's Advantage

Fluffycloudland77 · 20/07/2020 21:41

Advantage ought to work. Frontlines useless. Our vet nurse told me it was ok so I asked what she used and it was advocate 🤨.

swampytiggaa · 20/07/2020 22:02

Booked the idiot sisters in for their boosters next week 🙂 need to check if we can go in with them now...

Justonedayatatime11 · 21/07/2020 08:17

Today's the day. My new girl should be here mid afternoon and from everything I know it's going to take a long time for her to settle in and trust me. Will certainly give me something to focus on whilst my stupid lupus is making me feel like a dead person Sad

TheLongRider · 21/07/2020 09:50

Best of luck Just. A new cat is always exciting. Hopefully Charlie won't be too bewildered.

Papergirl1968 · 21/07/2020 10:02

How exciting, Just.
I must check with our vets if they’re doing inoculations, Swampy. I would want to go in with them. Socks climbed up me last time and had to be retrieved by the vet from the back of my neck.
