Has he been using the litter-tray? (I can't remember if he has one).

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 10:27

Yes, he went overnight for a wee Smile

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/09/2020 10:41

That's a good sign.

So hoping that this is just a weird Ollie-ism.

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 10:42

I'm guessing either expensive or rare. Or both, it being Ollie Hmm

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/09/2020 10:46

Or something short and fleeting that you never really discover the basis of...

Papergirl1968 · 25/09/2020 11:13

Oh poor Ollie.
It must have been awful to send him to the vet by himself.
Thinking of you both x

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/09/2020 12:19

Any news?

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 12:35

Pancreas and liver values raised and needs a scan. He can come home but needs a specialist ultrasound

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/09/2020 12:40

That wasn't quite the good news I was hoping for :(.

How quickly can you get the scan?

Papergirl1968 · 25/09/2020 12:42

What a worry. Have they given any indication as to what it might be caused by?

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 12:51

They're contacting the specialist. Said it could just be a pancreatitis flare/inflammation which is quite common. He's having meds and coming home shortly, the other thing it might be is a lump but they said scan first then see

Papergirl1968 · 25/09/2020 12:56

Fingers crossed it is just inflammation.

nettie434 · 25/09/2020 12:57

Poor Ollie (and you QueenOllie). Hope it is nothing serious and that he is back to 100% very soon.

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 12:59

He's fuming apparently Blush they said the meds should make him feel better

YetAnotherSpartacus · 25/09/2020 13:00

Yes, an inflammation is a very Ollie thing to have just to keep Queen on her toes.

YesItsMeIDontCare · 25/09/2020 13:10

Sending you and Ollie love & (((hugs))) Queen.

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 13:16

Scan in 2-3 weeks, meds until then and keep an eye on him. The scan is the best part of £500 so knowing Ollie they will scan him and find nothing Smile

swampytiggaa · 25/09/2020 13:33

Poor Ollie 😢

I was already doing my new job before I left my old job 🙂 started properly on Wednesday doing 5-10am. Although I was there until 12:30 today 😂😂

QueenOllie · 25/09/2020 19:41

He's purring a little. Slightly medication stoned and he's cross about his shaved legs!

Captain V ruling the roost
coastergirl · 25/09/2020 20:44

I'm glad he's home and purring. Walter and Bertie send dreamies.

Supersimkin2 · 25/09/2020 22:05

Thinking of you and darling Ollie @QueenPaws. Sweet dreams and hope you both feel a bit better in the morning.

TheLongRider · 25/09/2020 22:22

Nemo sends get well chirrups! Hobbes offers a free licking.

Captain V ruling the roost
Defiantly41 · 25/09/2020 22:52

@TheLongRider aren't those two sweet together? @QueenOllie purrs and licks from Defiantcat 1&2. DCat 2 had the vets today (hyperthyroid) so has every sympathy with Ollie

Supersimkin2 · 25/09/2020 22:54

@Justonedayatatime11 s sorry to hear you are ill, do take it easy and make the most of kitten comfort.

Oh @TheLongRider, Nemo and Hobbes are just the toothsome twosome. That's one hell of a social contract going on.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 26/09/2020 08:06

How is Ollie this morning?

Get well soon LongRider Flowers.
