Psych test. Stat. :)

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 11:57

I know, I know. If we do get one I’ll be back to “no don’t!” & “arghh why did I do this again” Before you know it

Justonedayatatime11 · 08/08/2020 12:46

Fluffy are you looking for a Bengal?

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/08/2020 12:54

Psssst. Wanna Bengal? ????

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 13:05

No not yet it’s only been 39 weeks on Monday.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/08/2020 13:10

Asbo Flowers. I

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2020 17:09

@Justonedayatatime11, you're not remotely nuts, just a genius, who are always misunderstood by the lesser among us.

I would have 13 cats like a shot.

@Fluffycloudland77 there are loads of Bengals going free in posh bits of London. Owners and interior decorators can't hack 'em, for some reason.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 17:12

Thank you Spartacus.

Gosh I wonder why Super? 😂. How is Mr Tangles?.

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2020 17:21

He's still homed, something of a surprise.

Now I think of it DH was clearly screaming with joy at the thought of a pair, and you misheard 'NO' as 'Yayayayyayay' which is of course easily done.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 17:26

Clearly said no when he meant yes. Although he followed it up with wtf so maybe not.

MrTangles is no doubt tempering his sense of misadventure with outrageous amounts of charm & affection.

Supersimkin2 · 08/08/2020 17:56

DH prob wept as well - tears of joy, see.

They don't know what's good for them sometimes.

Papergirl1968 · 08/08/2020 18:28

Apparently it is International Cat Day.
Matt and Socks would like to wish cats everywhere an enjoyable day and tell their to remind their owners that ICD means double helpings of Dreamies 😺

YesItsMeIDontCare · 08/08/2020 19:04

FLEAS!!!

Seriously. Fleas.

Month ago - de-flea'd, absolute disaster and it didn't go on properly. He still seemed to be suffering so out came DS's old Nitty Gritty - I got flea dirt off but no sign of live fleas.
So off we went to the vets on Wednesday. Thorough check up, annual jabs, Broadline administered by the professionals. Again, some flea dirt but no sign of live fleas. Indorexed the house in to another dimension.

Today - biting at his butt again. Nitty Gritty back out and I think I got a flea.

And his personality felinality has changed.

HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!

swampytiggaa · 08/08/2020 19:35

Saw this. Seemed appropriate 🙂

There’s always the program injection @YesItsMeIDontCare.

Every day is cat day.

Supersimkin2 · 10/08/2020 10:32

Woke up this morning to the sweet summery trill low roar of menace from my little prince, a tiny bit peckish.

Spider in the sink. Body size of a fag packet (well, a raisin), legs like Usain Bolt. 8 legs.

I rehomed it out of the window. Had to use a tureen cos of the legs.

Pleased with self.

Allergictoironing · 10/08/2020 11:48

Spiders don't last long chez Allergic Towers - hours of fun for the little furry monsters. Last time came down in the morning to find the living room taken apart and the very dead remains left right where I'd step on it if I wasn't alert (their usual favorite vomit location). At least Girlcat didn't greet me this time with faintly waving legs hanging out of her mouth! Shock

YetAnotherSpartacus · 10/08/2020 13:50

Friends woke up on Sunday to a dinner plate-sized one hanging out of DC's mouth. DC miawed to tell them the story of the valiant capture, and the spider dropped and ran at them (on all six remaining legs).

Papergirl1968 · 10/08/2020 18:10

That's very true, swampy and fluffy.
As for spiders, bleugh!

QueenCT · 10/08/2020 21:24

Paws is late today, he's just popped in. Must have been sunbathing himself

Supersimkin2 · 11/08/2020 08:36

Or he went for a drink with the lads. I bet you had his dinner ready tho Grin

Supersimkin2 · 11/08/2020 08:40

How is lockdown going @QueenCT? You must be bored rigid. What happens when people need clothes and shoes etc - six months now.

QueenCT · 11/08/2020 08:44

I'm still mostly shielding TBH, with the high number in my town and not having to go back to work yet I figure it's safer

Supersimkin2 · 11/08/2020 09:00

You're right. TK Maxx is rubbish at the mo but online it's way better. I'm insisting on using buses and working in the shop cos of me mental health, to be honest - I'd go nuts being stuck in this long and I can't Netflix write all day.

If it cheers you up any my neighbour has had covid twice and she's okay but tired. She's got more autoimmune diseases that she can count.

Got a month off from NHS. Now sports a conker-brown tan and a fondness for frozen cocktails, no Vit D deficiency there Grin

Respect, love.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 11/08/2020 11:12

If it cheers you up any my neighbour has had covid twice

That doesn't cheer me up at all :(

Take care, Lana. I have been worrying about you.

I am also pleased that you are shielding still, Queen.
