Lol yes, he was fully in the sun and sound asleep when I went in. I poked him to make sure he was still alive Smile

Papergirl1968 · 07/08/2020 14:29

A coke-addicted cat, love it!

QueenCT · 07/08/2020 14:33

Ollie is being a whinging pain. He has food, water, a clean litter tray and the window open but still, whining Confused
I think he wants to sit on me but given it's 29c and muggy, he can bog off Grin

...given it's 29c and muggy...

Ooh jealous! it was that temp when I went to do shopping at 9am, and already topping 30c when I drove home an hour later. Hotter now - cats have decided that the bottom of the wardrobes is the only bearable place in the house - but sadly I don't fit in there! Grin

YesItsMeIDontCare · 07/08/2020 17:44

Poor Leroy has chosen to not go on a walk today. He's not normally that sensible when it's hot! He's spent all day in the lounge too - coolest room in the house.

QueenCT · 07/08/2020 20:03

And we are back under local restrictions again!

Saw this and thought of... well... every single cat I've ever come across!

My domestic pet has drunk a pot of double cream.

In a heatwave.

It's not dead. I checked.

Tsk, @QueenCT, why? Cases on the up?

QueenCT · 07/08/2020 23:34

Yep Sad

I heard about the local lockdown and thought of you QueenCT. Hope it is not too much of a nuisance, especially for you and Mr Cheesecake (not a very respectful description for a man who clearly has very good qualities). I hope Ollie doesn't tell Paws that he can't enter his social bubble. I feel sorry for Paws, even if he does eat Ollie's Dreamies.

@Justonedayatatime11 I’m beginning to think Charlie has Bengal levels of naughtiness.

Is he a Bengal in a Savannah onesie?.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/08/2020 10:20

I briefly met a Savanna/Bengal cross once. Puss was being taken for a walk in a park near a seaside town we were visiting. Puss was huge and very stealth-like. I asked the owner if puss was a Bengal and he told me s/he was a cross (I can't remember the sex).

My OH was not convinced puss was a domestic cat. He was more worried that I might want one.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 10:25

You can buy servals but you need a licence. Probably a psych assessment too.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 10:28

Although I frightened the life out of dh while he was driving saying eventually do you think we ought to get a pair of bengals?.

Got as far as Pair before dh shouted no.

coastergirl · 08/08/2020 10:30

I have a new NMC. His name is Simba and he belongs to my neighbour. He's about 8 months old and adorable. I've caught him in my kitchen a few times 😂❤️

Is that what a serval is?

We did wonder about the owner. He was obviously of the landed gentry class, has quite an affected accent and posh, but old fashioned attire.

We had food from the local chippy. My partner was worried that puss would attack and kill us for our lunch. In fact, it was the rats that nearly did us in. Big black ones. Puss ignored the whole show, rats included.

Fair enough. One each.

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 10:42

Do you think Simbas brining the fleas in?.

Servals are wild cats you can breed domestically if you are mental enough.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/08/2020 10:45

Servals are wild cats you can breed domestically if you are mental enough I just watched a video - I think it was Charlie in a former life.

Justonedayatatime11 · 08/08/2020 11:07

Fluffy I'm starting to get the impression you think I'm slightly mental....

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 11:25

No of course not. If I could have 13 cats I would.

YetAnotherSpartacus · 08/08/2020 11:25

All Bengal, or a mix?

Nah, I think it was Bertie after being missing.

somebody has brought me a vole. Nobody is owning up to it 😂

Fluffycloudland77 · 08/08/2020 11:50

@YetAnotherSpartacus Oh all bengals. You can’t go back to normal cats after a Bengal.
