Whereas apart from the occasional bit of chicken or ham (they prefer SMOKED ham!), my pair look at me as though I've insulted them if I offer them any human food. Oh or tinned tuna, they like that but I don't so it's technically cat only food in my house

This includes any cooked fish, prawns, other sliced meats, lamb pork or beef, anything sweet or creamy, gravy.....

TheLongRider · 04/08/2020 23:28

I think I've just won a battle with the cat.Shock

Hobbes was on the worktop in the kitchen for the umpteenth time. I turn around, spot him and instead of telling him off, let out an exasperated sigh. He turns tail, shrugs his shoulders and trots back to the neutral ground of the windowsill.

I can control a cat with a sigh! GrinConfused

Supersimkin2 · 05/08/2020 09:28

Blinking Flip Long, that's netflix-series Mind Control. Grin

TheSparklyPussycat · 05/08/2020 15:18

Hissing works as well as sighing. Though hissing feels slightly embarrassing Blush even if no other humans are there to witness it.

TheLongRider · 05/08/2020 18:24

I only use hissing if they're being aggressive to me or another cat. He is knows the words "No!" and "Down!". He grumbles at me if I tell him off and he thinks I'm being unreasonable.

Here he is helping with the ironing.

TheSparklyPussycat · 05/08/2020 19:53

I didn't hiss very often Smile

Look at those amazing green eyes!
But what is this "ironing" you refer to?

Supersimkin2 · 06/08/2020 08:58

Oh Long, I love it when they tick one off.

Mr C, who was never one for red tape, crooned with righteous indignation when I mistakenly accused him of wazzing on the curtains. Didn't try that one twice, me.

Cap's had two breakfasts and passed out snoring loudly in the hall. I've got a mini fridge for him to kip in for the 99 degrees expected later.

QueenCT · 06/08/2020 10:00

The bloke turned up with cheesecake. Win. Ollie is mostly ignoring him Grin

How's the litter tray training going Lana?

I hate you.

I need cheesecake.

Papergirl1968 · 06/08/2020 15:02

Oh god, I’m inexplicably ravenous today - send that man with cheesecake to me immediately!

QueenCT · 06/08/2020 15:59

Someone has just climbed through the window with his giant bunny paws, knocked my cup of tea over, looked round at it and carried on to the food. Hint, it wasn't ollie Hmm

OP posts:
YesItsMeIDontCare · 06/08/2020 18:04

Suck it up, buttercup. I am feeling no sympathy for spilt tea.

I still don't have any cheesecake.

I am still cross about it.

Papergirl1968 · 06/08/2020 18:56

Any man who comes bearing pizza is surely a keeper. - and I’m a poet who doesn’t know it Grin

Supersimkin2 · 06/08/2020 19:54

That has to be a definitive guide to 21st cent. love @Papergirl1968.

Should be on Paper, arf.

Litter tray 1: used with maximum sound effects.
Litter try 2: angrily kicked aside with fat orange back leg.

We've had fried chicken (whole breast for Sir) and catnip. Now resting.

Papergirl1968 · 06/08/2020 22:30

That sounds like great progress, Lana. At least one litter tray was deemed acceptable! Smile

Oooh that photo of Charlie really cracked me up!

Papergirl1968 · 07/08/2020 08:46

Charlie is such a character!
Matt says good morning from the bathroom windowsill.
Out of all the comfy places to sleep, why you would choose a windowsill, especially one you couldn’t even see out of, @is beyond me but there you go.

Oops, stray @ crept in there.

Supersimkin2 · 07/08/2020 10:29

Probably the only spot where he won't be eaten by the DAWG @Papergirl1968. He is such a darling beautiful boy.

Allergictoironing · 07/08/2020 10:39

His head is being beautifully warmed by the sun coming in, can't see how far down the body that effect is but they DO love being in the sun (until it gets as hot as it already is here today ofc! Shock)

Justonedayatatime11 · 07/08/2020 10:43

Character? He's a bloody menace! I came down this morning to find Coca Cola all over the carpet.... he'd chewed through the cans and it had gone everywhere. I have no words!
