New boy cat arrives on Friday, a one-year old tabby boy currently under the moniker of "Bobby". I don't have a proper picture yet.

@Papergirl1968 both of the fluffy ones have amazing tails 🙂

I think (I hope) Socks is coming to the end of it. I don’t think they’ve been quite as bad today.
I managed to get her to take some of the medication prescribed for the urinary tract inflammation today too. I mean, it can’t help when you’ve got sore bits having Matt bumping and grinding away, can it? But still the little minx comes back for more so 🤷🏼‍♀️

There's nothing like that 3am optimistic feeling is there :) try and have a daytime nap, look after yourself, it's the only way.

We had a better night. A bit of shagging when we went to bed, then they both went to sleep. And so far this morning all ok!

1: 15 am. Light out, tinkly feather finally laid down.
1:16 tinkly feather starts moving on its own. Take that, lazy pink 2-leg monster!!!!
8am: after an hour's kip, pink monster has its petrol for the fire breathing I am waiting for from the pod machine. I show it tinkly feather politely and it says a bad word. Ignorant, see.
8:01: pink monster has the flipping impertinence to find me where I have fallen over behind the wardrobe.
820am: I hiss bravely and escape. Foiled again Pinky Kitten Eater!

New boy cat is here. According to his foster family he is totally bombproof and I concur with that description!

He strolled out of the catbox, took in his surroundings, had a wee and a poo in the litter tray, found the best catnip toy and made himself thoroughly at home within 90 minutes.

The others are not overly impressed, there's been a bit of growling but he's quite good at backing down. He's been chirruping at BossCat to play and the matter is under consideration. Girlcat has turned up her nose, but she does that to everyone and everything. Nervous Cat is uncertain but hopeful.

Oh my that IS a handsome cat! Love the spots on his shoulders in contrast to the stripes everywhere else.

Matt was the same, took everything in his stride. None of this needing to be confined to one room or hiding for the first few days lark.
Socks on the other hand still hides when someone calls.

He's very fond of tinkly feather too! Currently plonked beside DD.

We got him yesterday and we have to keep him in for several weeks. It's not usually a problem in winter but I was woken at 06:30 this morning by one of the older cats battering the cat flap. I came downstairs and released the older mogs. I also found an enormous furball as a nice present. Luckily the robovac hadn't kicked in or else I have been scraping furball out of its wheels. 🤢

He narrates everything so far. He's only quiet when dozing or sleeping.
